I don't think it is, most of the traditions of modern Halloween are Transpondian anyway.

If Kirsty is still there by Halloween I'll eat my hat! Dreadful dancer. I predict the next out are Kirsty this coming week and possibly Carol Halloween week.

Georgia the state within the USA? Or Georgia the former Soviet state now independent (ish)

This regional allegiance thing, does seem to be getting out of hand.

Kirsty or Carol.
Anyone who is unsure of their regional affiliation should vote for them

I'm English so does that mean I can only vote for English celebs? It's not an issue this year as I wouldn't vote for Carol or Kirsty but what about future years? What if there is a Scottish contestant who is my favourite. What will I do?????????

Moving house is the only option.
This is why Daniel failed to garner enough support- he comes from a wee Irish village with not enough houses for all his fans

I see now that's the only option.

It's a DANCING COMPETITION and those two I have to say are the poorer dancers.

I take it this is why Judy Murray stayed in so long last year althought she was a terrible dancer because she was getting the Scottish vote as they call it then.

Ok I think we need to make sure this vote does not fall away here in Scotland as a lot of people here don’t seem to be behind them as I had hoped . So I suggest that the people of Scotland get out on the streets this weekend in various cities (or towns) throughout the country and do some campaigning. Not sure where we should start with this weekend but think it’s important that we at least cover Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen this weekend as a priority

This may make the difference between Carol and Kirsty staying in this completion this week and with Halloween coming up the week after we need to make sure that everyone that’s near a phone on Halloween can and will vote for Scotland’s new princesses.

We know that 64% of Scotland will be out at parties or on the street that weekend but we need to make sure they have phones and the numbers the need to vote for and also the time that they need to vote at

As someone who has done surveys on the streets before when I was doing a project for Modern Studies in the eighties I offer some tips for anyone who is going to go out to the streets this week and may not be as confident as the season campaigners who have done this before.

First ask each person you stop on the street what the parameters are that would make people vote for Kirsty and Carole. Be prepared and write down what you wish to say before you leave the house. It may be tempting to speak from the heart but you may be squandering a perfect opportunity to capture votes with a perfectly crafted message.

People quickly form their first impressions within a few seconds so prepare to capture the attention of the person you stop in the street immediately. Engage with the person as soon as you start and build from there.

Depending on how long you have, it’s easy for people to drift in and out of a conversation, so make sure to emphasize your core points by repeating them throughout your chat and when possible make sure you quote the phone numbers for each contestant to the person.. More importantly, make sure your message is coherent by using transitions between paragraphs

Whist making notes the night before is recommended beware of taking notes with yourself out onto the street .It’s easy to use notes that are written on the back of your hand as a safety net but maintaining eye contact is important. While some of us are better speaking to new people than others, reading your notes on the back of your hand can be the kiss of death if your delivery is boring and bland.

I wish all of you good luck with your efforts and if any of you have any questions or require any help in coordinating this in your part of the country then feel free to ask me here in this forum and I will endeavour to get back to you when I can.
