I wonder if any off you can help me with a BT Box

Current situation is that I am a SKY customer and up until this year have had the ability to watch and record champions league matches on the Red button

When BT took over the champions league matches I assumed I would be in the same position as I already subscribed to BT Sport for the Moto GP unfortunately this is not the case and I can only watch the red button matches in very poor SD and not record them.

On talking to BT I was advised if I took out a BT contract to get TV services from them, that I would be able to record on the red button. After further investigation of how another Box would fit into my system I phoned BT today to potentially sign up. Only to be told that it was not possible to record on the red button

Thus anyone with a BT box can you record champions league matches on the red button and in HD ?

Hi,

Yes you can, all the BT Red Button channels on BT TV are labeled BT Sport Extra and each have an EPG Number making recording easy

Yes you can record all the HD channels and if you have the equipment the UHD channel as well
