CS - Is this the return of Evil David?
If so it's slightly different as he's behaving like this for good reasons.
I mean yes he could be nice about it but David is right. If he didn't do some tough things then people would be suspicious. 1. If they acted all nice to Callum's mum wouldn't she find it weird how they are acting all nice with her. 2. Sarah has been a big threat to keeping the secret. He needed to do something to get her to either move on and keep quiet or move away. 3. Ok maybe he was a bit harsh with Bethany but she was keeping Sarah in England whom may potentially give away their secret. I'm glad they are doing this with David's character. It's showing what you have to do to keep a murder secret, on the other side it's showing us with Kylie and Sarah how murder can change someone |

David is great whether hes been nice or evil
![]() I have to admit I like how they are showing us different reactions from Kylie, David and Sarah. Those scenes are the only ones really carrying the show ATM. Still think Kylie as a murderer is a long term mistake |

Are Coronation Street trying to win the Best Dramatic performance award because it seems David is dominating nearly every scene

David was great tonight, but that's not saying much as the rest was utter dross.

I really like the David/Sarah dynamic, always have. They play very believable siblings - they even have a little look of each other.

Well I don't like nasty characters.
Anyway Demon is great, if he's back I might start watching CS again. |

I find David one of the more interesting characters. I'm pleased he's getting more horrid again.

It may be harsh, but he didn't kill her son, but it's how you'd react if you were innocent. Why should the Platts entertain Callum's mum? All he did was bring them all misery. Good on you, David.

If David can do evil so well, why the hell couldn't he stand up to and get rid of CampCallum who was as intimidating as a melted marshmallow?

David is borderline psychotic.
Thrown his mum down the stairs, caused his brother to crash and give him brain damage, now party to the murder of Callum. Threatened suicide off a cliff. Now threatening to frame his sister. Have I missed anything? So far it's enough for a one way trip to a long term psychiatric institution. |

I have never felt the connection between Nick and Sarah that I have done between David and Sarah, thats probably done to number of reasons like having far less screen time together as both characters we're away for a number of years as adults, the age difference, the last time they were together Adam Rickitt was in the role and that was over a decade ago. It still feels weird watching them together as siblings...more like distant cousins. |

David was horrible but his motives were to protect Kylie in particular. Given how much Callum's Mum would be suffering, it would have been more compassionate if he had said something like "please leave as we have many bad memories of him and prefer not to be reminded".
![]() On an unrelated note, I enjoyed Sarah shedding her posh gear and going for more of a young biker chick look!

Evil David is back for certain (not that he ever went away). It dawned on Kylie last night that she is married to a sociopath, the penny finally dropped for her.
