Getting that break is a matter of hard work and luck, but no matter how hard you work, luck is still the biggest factor. Unless.
Unless you happen to do well on X-Factor or go to the Brit School, which is what Adele did.
Adele hardly ever performs live, you've got to ask yourself why. Is it because her voice has to be corrected, warmed and auto-tuned? If she hadn't taken the easy path of Brit School, she'd have to have worked her way up by playing dingy pubs and clubs and learn the hard way, but she's had it all handed to her on a plate.”
So by that logic everyone who goes to the Brit School becomes a big star?
I'm pretty sure that's not the case, so there goes that theory.
I'm not actually much of a fan (don't have any of her albums), but quite liked the new song.
Whatever else, its ridiculous to suggest she has anything other than an incredible voice.
I defy you (or anyone) to watch this (from about 4:30 onwards) and come back and say she has anything other than an incredible voice:

While we're suggesting that Adele doesn't do many live shows because her voice isn't that great, shall we suggest the exact same thing about, I dunno, Kate Bush?
