When is this gonna start?

The act reveal + the first performances will take place on Thursday. I will reveal the details of the schedule, everyone taking part, and the first theme, later this evening :3

The act reveal will take place Thursday starting at 6pm and will last hours probably but oh well. If you want, you can PM me a short intro between now and then to show how amazing your act is, and a fabulous photo. Non-fabulous photos will be rejected. As your acts are introduced for the first time, they will also perform for the first time and be judged by everyone!!

Week #1 Theme - I Choose You!

So this is essentially free choice, but what you need to do is pick a song for both your acts that represents why you want to bring them to the competition, or bring them back in the case of the favourites. Just a sentence why the song best represents the act would be amaze.

Please PM yours songs to me by 4pm on Thursday. If you don't send a song, your act will perform with no lyrics or music or any idea of what is going on and you will embarrass yourself.

In the meantime, you can give clues about who your acts are if you. If you haven't signed up yet and would like to, you also have until Thursday to do that!

I literally cannot say how glad I am to see some of these people participating. Having recently returned from a very long DS hiatus myself, I was greatly saddened by the amount of people who seem to have left DS for greener pastures. Hopefully this series of NTA will re-strengthen old friendships and allow new ones to bloom as well.

So, so, so excited for my acts and songs. I just sent them in! Also dying to see who everyone has picked. Wondering if anyone has grabbed any of my old acts!

It's gonna be another great series, plus it gives the newcomers a huge learning experience on song choices.

Cause after all, a lot of us love the Indie stuff, right?

So am I. I'd absolutely love nothing more than for somebody to have picked Kyla.

Btw, I'm going to leave voting open overnight so the first elimination will actually take place on Friday eve. This is because I know not everyone will be able to listen for the first time and vote during Thursday's show. If you think you won't be able to vote because you are just too busy doing amazing things on both Thursday and Friday, then you can let me know and I'll pretend to be okay with that.

Also not many people have sent intros for their acts so far, but if you're around during the show you can post them yourselves.
