During her first 2 full seasons of SCD I really valued Darcey as a judge, she was fair, unbiased and gave balanced views on the dances. Ever since last year though she to me has developed a lot more favouritism and bias towards male SCD competitors. Got no immediate qualms over it, but you should remain neutral. She can talk down on contestants too, like she is speaking down to georgia and Anita like their pieces of rubbish off the floor and over praising Peter, Jeremy, kellie, jamelia and helen. Would love it if the BBC could replace her with someone else, prefrably Erin boag to be fair.

All of this has probably been directed by the BBC bosses, but the thing is that their behaving like a dictatorship now rather than a democracy and influencing Darcey to work in a way that she really isn't comfortable in working in. Then again it's probably part of their business plan and BBC are a business at the end of the day after all.

It's probably what the BBC dish out to her. She conforms to the bosses too much and doesn't give a crap with what the viewers at home think. Like last year in dance off situations one of the dance offs she voted to keep simon webbe in against pixie lott which I thought was a sign that possibly she is starting to crack in her judges role.

She has been inconsistent this year, you can't hide from that. Then again her main concern is the volume of people who watch rather than fairness, trouble is its short term gains over riding long term common sense. I'm not just not gonna watch SCD, but I am finding the judges scoring suspect to the extreme particularly darceys.

I enjoy her comments much more than her scoring.

Another thread about another aspect of the show you don't like?

Maybe start one mega thread about Len, Darcey, Louise Rainbow, the production team, the runners, the lady who makes the tea and everything else that makes you angry, and then it'd all be in one place for ease of reference.

I honestly don't know why you watch this programme OP. You do nothing but pick fault in everybody involved. It seems unless they are fuflilling your own personal agenda you see fit to critisice them. You don't just disagree, you take any contradiction of your point of view as an excuse to condemn the various contributors to the show and start a character assassination.

It doesn't seem to occur to you that your world view is not the truth and we don't all agree on everything.

In my opinion. Darcy is doing fine, Len is doing fine, SCD is great, the production is not declining, there are no OFCOM relevant issues arising, NTA awards should not be the production focus and the ratings are not a concern as SCD is pulling the second biggest audience for Light entertainment this season.

Not gonna argue with you, however I can make any thread I like within reason.

I agree it is getting really tiresome. Maybe there needs to be a mass thread merge like the Terry M22 every THOUGHT I ever had about STRICTLY ever mage thread last year.

Just because you CAN doesn't mean that you HAVE TO, does it?

Maybe it's no direct reflection on the judges, the programme has just evolved. To me they've brought it upon themselves, enough said. Rest my case.

Enough said, indeed. So maybe you could leave your case nicely rested, as you suggest.

You obviously like Darcey which I haven't got a direct problem with. However personally I find her irritating. Nothing more and nothing less. 😒

Oh stop it. Nothing I have said gives any indication of my opinion on Darcey. If someone finds your relentless vendetta against the show tedious the logical conclusion is not that they are 'team' whatever you're 'anti'.

It's like Groundhog Day on here at the minute. Lord knows why I'm bothering to engage with this.

It's just me coming out with my perception as if it were.

Or maybe a sign that Simon was actually better in the dance off.

Her scoring is perfectly alright. She knows something about dance and judging by the suggestions you put forward as good tracks for salsa the other night; all of which were woefully unsuitable, you have no real understanding of dance.

You are of course quite within your rights to like what you like and you are as you keep saying, entitled to an opinion, however uninformed it might be.

Personally I think you are just baiting. Silly me for rising to it.

Not the case at all, to me you don't realise what it's like to have mental health issues.....well I don't think so anyway. Your just perceiving me as a difficult individual which isn't the case.

I see the board is getting parochial again. Someone has views that are unpopular and a group attack the poster rather than address the point.

Your misinterpretation of this thread is spectacular.

No one is being 'attacked' for having an 'unpopular' view. Rather, people are expressing exasperation at the OP's habit of starting multiple threads per day repeating the same issues.

I don't mind Darcey at all. She gives some good constructive advice which imo is far more useful than just criticising. As far as the scores are concerned as long as the couple end up roughly in the right place on the leader board that's all that matters - the rest is up to us!

Not the case at all, if anything an exaggeration.
