Have I missed something - what has happened to the baby she is supposed to be having from Jason Grimshaw - if she is still pregnant should she not be showing by now

absolutely agree - they never explained it away - she is supposedly still pregnant!

I swear this gets asked every few days!

She took a pregnancy test and it was negative. We found out months ago.

Another week, Another is Alya pregnant thread

Apart from the episode where she told Sinead that THE TEST WAS NEGATIVE. How many times do we have to go through this.

Funny how so many people think Alya is "still" pregnant when a pregnancy was only mooted when she took the test. So they must have seen those episodes.

Because the story would be pointless without a dramatic outcome of some sortm and it wasn't clear if she was just fobbing Sinasal off or not.

This thread has clearly proved very inconclusive as we are still all lost for answers on the question of Alya's pregnancy.

Actually, we don't know that she isn't pregnant; all we know is that she told Sinead the test was negative.

Personally, I don't think she's pregnant, or I think it would be showing by now. But that's opinion, not knowledge.

She was weeping, wailing and throwing up over just having sex - imagine what she would be like if she was pregnant.

She's not even weeping and wailing now - just a bit anxious that Gary might find out. That's knowledge, not opinion. So we do know she's not pregnant.

To be honest these threads are not as repetitive as people who go onto the Coronation Street Facebook Page and ask every single time "What happened to Alya being pregnant?" This is asked in every 3 postings, apparently no one can actually look at the comments where the answer is.

I'll settle for circumstantial evidence supporting the view that she's not pregnant.

Which story are you talking about? If you mean Alya sleeping with Jason, then Gary and her family will probably find out at some point. That'd probably be pretty dramatic. The pregnancy scare was an easy way of letting Sinead find out what she'd done.

Well look, someone will have to get pregnant soon. We have had the oldie and the schoolgirl getting pregnant, not sure who is next is what convoluted circumstances it could be. I was hoping the stork would visit Reverend Billy and Sarah but maybe not. Unless Beth's indigestion pains after Christmas dinner turns out to be a 10 pounder surprise...
