Its really rubbish. No Alya is not having a baby. She is making a song and dance about having slept with Jason. As if anyone cares on the street. Look at Tracy she has been everywhere.

Similar amount and timing to me. 65k in 5 years seems like an awful lot but then I read more than post and I can't be the only one

Lol, in my early days on here, when DS was in its heyday and a lot more fun than it is now, I was a very 'eager beaver'. I'm afraid my post rate has dwindled by about 99% the last year or so.

It would have been a better storyline had they made her be pregnant and not know until she was in labour! Made her give birth at home alone. Some Muslims aren't very educated in sex as they are protected from it. Alya was a virgin before Jason and her family were shocked when they found out she had sex before marriage!
At least the "is Callum really alive?" threads have come to a definite end, that's what I loved the most about the reveal.

That would have been more interesting. Not that Im an Alya fan but it would have given her more to do on the show and something of substance. Tackle those issues, how the Nazirs deal with having a (great) grandchild born out of wedlock, how Alya copes with a baby ruining her career plans (happens to women all the time in the real world), and copes with the repercussions of having gone against what she and her family believes in.
