Being as the show is only over a week away I thought I would start a thread of alternative song suggestions too Micheal Jackson Thriller for Halloween that have not already been used on the show as far, here are some to start:

Black Magic Little Mix
Ghost Ella Henderson
Skeletons Tulisa
Arcana

Have they used John Carpenter's theme for the film Halloween before?

Might work for a tango.

I'd like to see Nouvelle Vague's version of The Killing Moon for a Viennese Waltz, the Munsters theme for a Jive, Madonna's Ghosttown for a Rumba and - as is suggested every year - Danse Macabre.

I can't remember whether or not it has already been used in previous series but maybe "Poison" by Alice Cooper could be a possible option, maybe for either a Paso or Tango?

Lana Del Rey - Gods and Monsters (Rumba?)
R.E.M - It's The End Of The World As We Know It (Quickstep)
Tubular Bells from The Exorcist (No idea)
Steve Miller Band - Abracadabra (Cha-Cha-Cha)
Donovan - Season of the Witch (Rumba)
Monsters, Inc. Theme (Charleston)

Lullaby by The Cure .. and This is Halloween (Nightmare Before Christmas.)

Can't say I can get excited about what a song is called or how apt that is for a date or event. You don't dance to song titles, you dance to a rhythm, tempo and meter. If those three things are right for the dance in question they can call it what they like.

Werewolf Bar Mitzvah from 30 Rock could be mangled into a Cha-Cha-Cha. (Wishful thinking on my part)

I think "Black Magic" is inevitable this year. "Wild Woman" by Imelda May could be a QS, and at a push "It's Good To Be Alive" could be a samba. I'm surprised "Abracadabra" hasn't been used yet.

For reference they've actually been pretty good about not using songs from a previous Halloween week in subsequent years - 2013 had two from 2010 and 2014 only had one.

One for Jeremy Vine....with his long limbs he should be able to pull off Jack Skellington pretty well.

Alex Jones and James Jordan did a paso to this I loved it.

Another vote for This Is Halloween from me, also Danse Macabre by Saint Sans (Jonathan Creek's theme) would be a gorgeous haunting Viennese waltz.

Please no! If they're going to (finally) use this amazing song we need a damn good dance doing to it! Lol

I always liked Sally's Song. Not sure what dance but it'd sound nice haha

- "Illabye" by Tipper would make a really unnerving, quiet, chilling Viennese Waltz.

- "Red Right Hand" by Nick Cave would make a good devilish Argentine Tango.

- "I'm Not Calling You A Liar" by Florence & The Machine would make a nice ghostly Foxtrot.

- Similarly, "Seven Devils" by Florence + The Machine would make a dramatic Rumba.

- I'm amazed "Dark Waltz" by Hayley Westenra hasn't been used for a Slow Waltz yet.

- Back to Florence + The Machine, "Howl" would make a great werewolf Tango.

Cry Little Sister - Gerard mcmahon
