No, Spooky is perfect for a rhumba.
In fact I think the really slow, soppy ballads they use these days for the Rhumba are so wrong. Rhumba is a latin dance so it should have a latin rhythm ( albeit a slow one )
Another such song which has the perfect tempo and rhythm for a Rhumba imo is " You'll Never Get To Heaven If You Break My Heart".
