Am I the only one who thinks Jay's song is actually pretty good for a Paso?

And while I do like Peter, and I love Thinking Out Loud, that song might actually require him to bring some subtlety to his dancing, which isn't something he would know if it came up and hit him in the face.

Peter got a great song!

Loved this DWTS rumba from gymnast Nastia Liukin last season: http://youtu.be/VjNv_7ul3Gw

The verses are very stop start which is the last thing you want in dance where movement is key at all times. It will hardly give a Spanish feel to the routine either; to me the song is more something you'd give to a couple for a 'joke' Paso - not someone who might make a decent fist of it.

These are the ones I like
Anita and Gleb are dancing the Tango to Temper Trap’s Sweet Disposition
Helen and Aljaz are doing the Quickstep to Diana Ross and the Supremes’ You Can’t Hurry Love
Jamelia and Tristan are dancing the Foxtrot to Celine Dion’s Because You Loved Me
Jay and Aliona are doing the Paso to Bon Jovi’s It's My Life
Kellie and Kevin are doing the Jive to One Direction’s One Way Or Another
Kirsty and Brendan are dancing the Viennese Waltz to David Gray’s This Year’s Love
Peter and Janette are dancing the Rumba to Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud

The one I dont really like is Georgia's choice

It seems like something they would give to Ashley a few years ago (didn't he also do a Paso to a Bon Jovi track.........with a cowboy theme ).

LOL at Katie getting a Buble track for a Salsa

At least Helen has a decent track (and if the pony can get 30 points, she should at least be able to keep on par with the last few weeks), although it will still remind me of this:

If you use #askITT on Twitter we can post questions to Jay and Aliona for tomorrow's show

It's a bit of a strange choice I have to say, however it's up to them and the PTB.

Kirsty and Helen's are the ones I'm looking forward to the most based on the songs.

After last week, I don't think anyone can grudge Kirsty a good song which is what she's been given. It's a pity I don't think the VW will suit her too much based on what we've seen from her so far because I love the song and I really want her to have a moment like Jamelia did last week before she goes.

Helen's got a fantastic song. I can see her getting great scores this week and maybe even
being top of the leaderboard. Out of all the songs/dance combinations from the front runners, I think Helen's got the best match and it seems like it might suit her. I like her, but she's not really wowed me so far. I hope she's going to do that this week because the song is great and I love a good Quickstep.

Honourable mention to Peter, Anita, Georgia and Jeremy's choices as well.

kirsty's song is a good song but not a good VW very few of the music choices are ideal this week Peter's and Ainsley's for appropriateness are the best of a mediocre bunch

Anita and Gleb are dancing the Tango to Temper Trap’s Sweet Disposition - I think this has been used before, but possibly for a pro dance?

Carol and Pasha are dancing the Viennese Waltz to Seal’s I’ve Been Loving You Too Long - don't recognise this one

Georgia and Giovanni are dancing the Salsa to Sylvester’s You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) - pretty sure this has been used before as well

Helen and Aljaz are doing the Quickstep to Diana Ross and the Supremes’ You Can’t Hurry Love - DANI & VINCENT

Jamelia and Tristan are dancing the Foxtrot to Celine Dion’s Because You Loved Me - don't think this one has been used, although I do know the song, doesn't really sound like a Foxtrot to me?

Jay and Aliona are doing the Paso to Bon Jovi’s It's My Life - Ray & Camilla in series 4, wasn't this one of his better dances?

Jeremy and Karen are dancing the Waltz to Elvis Costello’s She - seems familiar, thinking round about series 7-8 possibly.

Katie and Anton are dancing the Salsa to Michael Buble’s It Had Better Be Tonight - I've wanted them to use this for a while, lots of accents for Anton (and his choreographer) to utilise.

Kellie and Kevin are doing the Jive to One Direction’s One Way Or Another - not a Jive to me whatsoever, unless they speed it up

Kirsty and Brendan are dancing the Viennese Waltz to David Gray’s This Year’s Love - HARRY & ALIONA

And Peter and Janette are dancing the Rumba to Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud - will be as subtle as a brick.

Thanks hun I was doing all that from memory (not sure why the Sylvester song sounded so familiar then, pretty sure the pros did a dance to Sweet Disposition when it first came out) so I was mostly right

Looks like I'm going to be doing a few *RECYCLED SONG ALERTS* on my blog next week then!

Agreed...last weeks My Generation hardly suited a QS....this week an average rock tune.
Some of the others have got real beauties...

The bosses of the show think these recycled songs are a good idea and think we like them, think again.

Or more likely because they don't have the rights to every song they may want to use.

One of the production staff even warmed them up to sing sweet Caroline, what are they thinking of? That tune gets on my nerves. Would prefer it if I warmed up to an ellie Goulding number.

Isn't Jeremy a massive fan of Elvis Costello?

He'll be pleased with the song choice and will probably be keen to do it justice.

Because they don't pick the audience warm-up songs to please you.

It's a very popular first dance track. She should go for something different.
