Wonder guys and girls whether you think dancing on ice contestants for strictly would be a good idea? I'd really like to see ppl like laura Hamilton, chloe Madeley, matt lapinskas, Gareth Thomas and many more ex dancing on ice stars on strictly. Also I don't know what a bolero would be like in ballroom terms, but we'll have to wait and see.

Also imagine if Jason gardner had some involvement with the choreography of the pro dances, that would be interesting.

I do miss seeing a few of the pros Matt and Dan especially. I also wouldn't mind seeing some of the contestants I'll be shocked if Bonnie Langford doesn't take part in Strictly next year I'm quite shocked she hasn't I asked a few people and had to google to check, Hayley Tamaddon is desperate to take part, I'd like to see Ray Quinn but he would be a huge ringer.

We need to forward these ideas to charlotte Moore who is the BBC one controller and she books in the contestants. 😏

We'll Ray Quinn definitely couldn't do it as he was a junior ballroom champion and probably has more experience that some of the BTF professionals. None of the celebs we have seen on Strictly with previous dance experience have done ballroom or latin before. Bonnie Langford is a well known dancer I wouldn't have thought she should do it. She got enough stick doing DOI.

It'll probably be ppl like beth tweddle, Hayley Tamaddon and a few others that'll get chosen, I think ray Quinn and bonnie Langford aren't interested really.

I think Ray or Bonnie would really be taking the concept of a ringer too far!

Its surprising really that after all these years nobody has done both shows - I think the nearest we got was John Barrowman on a Christmas special? I think if it did happen it would be someone who didn't win Dancing On Ice, as that would be less obvious.

After their Children-in-Need special I'd love to see Jayne and Chris do it and Ray Quinn and Bonnie and Mark Cavendish...... in fact why not have a special series: Strictly-Ultimate Ringers with scoring paddles that go all the way to 11.

From what I remember - most of the stick Bonnie got in her series of DOI was because she spent the vast majority of her time in the air rather than on the ice! And when she wasn't in the air she was hanging on to Matt Evers for grim death

When she had to do a solo skate and a jump she was like Bambi on Ice and was outclassed by all the other skaters, but still scored highly because her performance in the rest of the routine was put over so effectively (a bit like Hayley Tamaddon who was famous for a similar crime - when she wasn't on her toepicks she was doing armography whilst standing or being dragged around by Dan Whiston.

I'd love to see Bonnie on Strictly - but replacing Darcey!

Out of the original post, I would only want to see Gareth Thomas.

I would avoid Ray Quinn like the plague. Hayley almost as badly.

Chloe and Laura are just meh.

I never will. If he or his scalp pet appear on screen I switch over or off.

I don't mind Ray Quinn or Bonnie Langford but I agree they are obviously over qualified. The rugby guy might be OK. Forget his name but he could moonwalk. Or that guy that skated...correction slid straight out of the tunnel onto the ice.

Dan lives near where I work, he sometime comes in the shop i work in. He is a lovely bloke with a lovely smile.

I wouldn't like to see the pros and semi pros of Bonnie/Hayley standard take part . Ringers bore me to death . But some of the lesser talents from DOI should make a decent fist of Strictly and I wouldn't mind any crossover celebs . I loved DOI .
