I use about 30-40GB a month excluding speed tests and podcasts. If do include those it can vary from 50-70GB.

That is nuts. No wonder 3 want to stop it as that is just excessive. You have to wonder why they don't just kick you off the network.

I have used up to 20gb in some months, with a lot of tethering. I generally average about 5GB though. I don't carry my personal phone with me whilst working though so that's probably why.

I use upto around 10gb each month with Three.
Not a massive amount, but I don't like to worry about it when I'm streaming Internet Radio and letting the kids stream iPlayer/YouTube etc. |

My usuage depends on where i am/what im doing and it can vary by a huge margin. a low usuage moth will see me use about 6gb of data, average about 12GB and high about 30something.
Currently on the One plan on three £15/month sim only |

I never use over a gigabyte per month.
I use 200GB+ on FTTC so I can only assume that the OP uses their mobile for their home broadband. |

To the people that are shocked to how I can use so much data. Any video that is available in 1440p on YouTube, I will watch it at that resolution. I usually have a few YouTube videos as well as some videos from Vessel. There is a lot of time to kill on a bus. Then during the day, I may have taken some photos and screenshots which are all uploaded to Google Photos on LTE. On Wednesday's there is PMQs which I watch live so there is a bit there as well. I may even have some app updates. As you can tell, it's quite easy to go over 1GB in a day for me.

The other thing was how can Three not want to kick me off their network? /s
Firstly I don't live in London, so are not usually prone to the heavy congestion you get. Secondly I am paying for this service. I am not causing harm to any other user. I tend to use my phones in mostly non peak times anyway which doesn't seem to affect the mast anyway as it's always 90mbps or above all day. I still do not get your logic? |

Clocking up the useage is quite easy when you think about it, although the the most i've used on my phone is 3GB in a month (out of the 20GB I get on BT mobile) when I wasn't home for a week and a half.
On the other hand, and only slightly off topic, there are two of us using a 10Mbps ADSL connection (soon to be upgraded to Infinity 1) the average there is 2GB a day, so 60GB a month. That's just on basic stuff though. |

I was using about 12GB a month, roughly split between <= 1GB handset and 11GB tethering (rural ADSL is impossible to stream on and that ADSL is also your only available Wi-fi for about 10 miles)
I don't think I ever used more than 15GB at any time during my subscription, which was in essence no more Data than is openly available via a Mobile Broadband sim!. Either way, it still got me kicked off the One Plan at the first opportunity, regardless of the fact the rural mast was never once congested. |

How do you measure your data usage? The My3 app simply says I have not used any data outside of my allowance since my last bill seeing as I have unlimited data.

I've been using the EE 100GB promotional SIMs over the last year and have been using them exclusively as my main home broadband provider. SIM's currently in an EE Osprey so it's used both at home and out and about.
On average I use 65-70GB per month as a result. |

I'm with 3 on sim-only with unlimited data and 4gb teething to be honest i don't know how much i use but i not watching videos all day or using music channel.
I do watch some 30sec or less videos when playing games so with updates i may be use 5-10gb a month. The funny thing is i used my old Giffgaff sim the beginning of last week i paid £12 for mins text and 2gb data. Only used it for the wife she was in hospital and our 3 network sim is a bit hit and miss there so she used that for 2 days and used about 800mb so i still had well over a 1gb left. a couple of days after she came out of hospital i used the sim indoors to play a game i was on it for about an hour all of a sudden i got a message from GG saying i had run out of data i couldn't believe it had just used over 1gb data. So the moral of the story is that you can never have too much data Plus i think gg tucked me up LOL

I'm not sure if I should be proud or ashamed.
I've used 2.4gb this year, as in since last October. |

Around 8-10GB/month. This includes spotify streaming at gym/in car, some youtube & perhaps 1GB tethering.

I class my EE plan as unlimited as it's 50GB a month and I have tried to hit that limit but never go anywhere near it. I use Wi-Fi wherever possible. Usually use 10-15GB on mobile and 20GB-ish on Wi-Fi.
So far, I am 3 days into my bill cycle and I've used 500MB - so if I keep the usage the same throughout the month it'll be about 5GB this month. |
