Will Kate Oates give Todd a boyfriend?
This is something I want to see happen when Kate Oates takes over Corrie. I feel like Todd hasn't reached his full potential and I would really like to see him in a relationship. We've only see Todd being quite horrible, I'd like someone to bring out a warmer and softer side to him again.
I would like him to get with Zeedan - I think it would be a good storyline. Todd would struggle to adjust having a long term serious relationship after being single for so long, and Zeedan would struggle to come out to his family. |

so you want to put him with someone nearly half his age and who has shown no previous signs of being into men, just so Todd has a boyfriend.
ok then. I actually wondered if Todd would go after the vicar |

I'm wondering if Todd might flirt with Billy to just wind Sean up though, as its getting to Sean already. Or does Todd genuinely like Billy. Will be interesting to see where it goes. |

I have a feeling it'll be something similar to effing robron. I like Kate but she has a habit for repetition

Yes please. I'd like to see Todd hook up with a new openly gay character who brings out his nicer side more. I also want to learn more about his time in London and why he came back with a personality change as it has never been fully explored.

Just throwing a suggestion out there...any need to be quite so rude?

if it's a existing character, then zeedan actually makes sense, he hasn't had a love interest or a big storyline, but i think it will be a new character

I would like him to get with Zeedan - I think it would be a good storyline. Todd would struggle to adjust having a long term serious relationship after being single for so long, and Zeedan would struggle to come out to his family. We could see him then start to interact with Todd - maybe he becomes Todd's personal trainer at the gym and Zeedan grows to be interested in Todd but simultaneously repulsed by the urges. A long old 'coming to terms' storyline, with an affair thrown in, the affair reveal, Zeedan being forced to 'come out' to his family, his own feelings, the family's response, and so on. His fiancé being devastated, him genuinely also loving her and being in turmoil about how it's possible. Todd could simultaneously do some more nasty things, be involved in Jason's exit, and so on. Zee could then "fall out of lust" with him and genuinely not want to be around him. But by then the whole community knows and he's not even sure he understands himself yet. Zee has learned he is bi and come to terms with it. He could still love his fiancé and want to win her back, but Todd will also fight for him and promise he can change. It could be played that Zee is bisexual but doesn't realise it, and playing that as a story would be fascinating. The whole community, his family, even Todd thinking he's gay but him actually being bi. It could explore the very difficult experience bone fide bisexuals have, where many see them as "gay, straight or hiding". Anyway, ya de ya de. Kate Oates if you're reading this, feel free to register for DS and PM me if you want to offer me a job. So much to give and all that. ![]() ![]()

It's about time Todd had a boyfriend. I think a new openly gay character would be better than another Muslim gay man struggling to come out as we had that in Eastenders. So no to Zeedan. There is no reason why Todd shouldn't have a boyfriend as he's quite good looking and can hold a conversation. I'm not sure the Vicar would be the best for Todd. I don't mind the Vicar but he's a bit bland. I'd like to see Todd go out in the centre of Manchester and meet a gay man around his age and bring him back to the Street. Then after a short while the new fella can move in with Todd so that he can become a regular.
