Exactly, and he doesn't seem to have had a career plan set in place when Strictly came to an end. Others have moved on, had families, done tours, run dancing schools, done guest appearances on TV, yet James and Ola just seem to scrape by living off her earnings mainly. Well that's how it appears. Don't even own their own house. Time to get off your sofa James and do some work because I can't see Ola back on Strictly anymore either.

I'm curious as to how you know that. It seems the kind of detail even James wouldn't choose to share with his Twitter followers.

In the previous 12 series, it is very arguable that the best dancer didn't win in 6 of them. That is the real point. It's not a dance competition, it's an entertainment show based on a dance learning competition.
Fatskia, I know that you've been on this forum long enough now to know first hand that it's very arguable that all of the 12 previous series weren't won by the best dancer.

I read it on here, although it was ages ago and I'm sorry but I can't provide a link. But they rent a house in Maidstone, Kent. It was revealed in a reality show they did when they allowed cameras into their home.

Oh okay, thanks. Seems mad to still be renting when their careers as dancers will not last for many more years. Sad as it is to admit, I did see that programme - Seven Days I think it was called. They actually came over as quite a likeable couple! I've always liked Ola in any case. James is a bit of an idiot, IMO, for his tweets but I suppose he thinks any publicity is good publicity.

It's interesting that so many people here seem to have liked James when he was on the show. I always thought there was something quite malicious about him, so what he's doing now doesn't really surprise me - it seems in keeping with what I thought his character was.

He is desperate to stay in the limelight and presumably jealous of Ola. Even the pimping of her calendar is uncomfortable - what sort of husband does that?

I also understood that they rent their house, though it was a while ago so perhaps not the case any more? It is surprising though, I know the pro dancers aren't payed a fortune (unlike the judges) but with two of them earning I would have thought they could have managed a mortgage!

So anyway, him bleating about unfairness seems par for the course. He appears to be a very bitter man I think. I agree that most of the other ex-pros seem to have managed leaving Strictly with much more composure and grace than James.

James also said P'Duh had the 'best intensity he had ever seen' on Strictly' Oh and that he had the best dance of the night last Saturday For me, even with mistakes, Jays was a far superior dance.

He wants P'Duh to win, but thinks Jay will.

Which only goes to prove that James Jordan is a complete imbecile who wouldn't know the truth if it bit him on the behind. No wonder he's friends with Andre, they have so much in common.

I have never liked the man, either in the show or bitching about it from behind his computer screen

......and he wouldn't have been complaining had Ola been partnered with Jay this year, either!
and I wonder if any of Jay's fans were complaining about Natalie Gumede being a trained dancer?

James is entitled to give his opinion, I wish they would take the trained dancers out of it and let us see those who progress throughout the competition. It is now more trained dancers than non-trained, what is the point? How can we possibly compare Jay, Helen etc to Carol, Kirsty etc?

I saw that programme. They seemed to be very happy together but Ive often wondered what Ola sees in him. I bet if Ola had been paired with Jay, things would have been quite different - dancingwise not relationshipwise

I like James but hes becoming more and more bitter with every tweet and every comment. I thought he would start really getting the claws out once Ola went and he has, he needs to just shut up now.

Not me. I don't mind the more experienced dancers. I don't want to sit through 12 crap dances in a row. I like the learners, and I like the ringers.

I didn't enjoy DVO on the show. Not because of her dance background, just because I find the whole loud-mouthed 'ladette' banter banter banter thing very wearing.

That good but why then just put trained dancers on the show?

I doubt any of you would vote for say Carol or Kirsty then as you prefer the trained dancers?

I liked Natalie too

Just as I like both Helen and Carol this year. I've liked a mix of both trained and non trained dancers.

Each year I vote for who I like , not necessarily whether they are a trained or untrained contestant.

No, I loved Natalie on Strictly and spent lots of (probably pointless) effort defending her. (Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I thought you did, too )

I've voted for Jeremy this series

It is possible to like to watch the better dancers but also appreciate those learning and appearing to having a blast as well.

I voted for Michael Vaughan in the past for the same reason.

To be honest the useless ones make it fun at the start, don't like it midway when decent dancers start going out and the useless ones stay as thats annoying. But generally does not bother me if someone is trained or not.

Wouldn't bother me if they did. I watched Strictly Dance Fever and SYTYCD, both of which exclusively featured trained dancers. I enjoy watching good dancers.

I also enjoy watching less able dancers. Jeremy is a delight, and I was rooting for DoD. I'd be unlikely to vote for Carol or Kirsty as I'm not getting a sense of joy from them so they don't much for me just now. That could change. Your assumptions about people's voting behaviour present something of a fatalistic dichotomy, though I don't know what you're basing those assumptions on.

But the producers cast the show, not anyone on the DS forum, so for the foreseeable future there will doubtless be a mix of abilities from experienced to complete novice. It's been the case since the very beginning.

No not me. I also supported Caroline last year and defended Denise.

Oh and I also love Carol and have voted for her the first few weeks.

The duffers and the ringers bring light and shade to the early weeks. I don't think it would be a case of a whole cast of Widdies or Nancies - more a case of being over subscribed with the Darren Goughs and Chris Hollins types. Which is all well and good but a 2 hour show of their early calibre of dancing wouldn't really be that riveting.

Theorectically, the duffers give the middle rankers the time to improve and level up with the early front runners.

Me too .. she was a fab dancer. Loved Caroline and Pixie too .. all hit with the ringer stick.

A James Jordan endorsement!! Yet another reason not to vote for Peter!
