Wow, K&B are really getting some dismal songs to dance to aren't they. First "Vincent" and now This Year's Love. I mean, they are both lovely songs in their way but not exactly happy! I think their dance this week could be a real downer and I don't think the voting public like that.”

Hi Victoria. We don't know the running order ahead of the night do we?

I would agree with this, except I think Kirsty & Brendan's VW *might* be good enough for them to scrape through without a dance-off, which may put Jamelia there instead.

Oh no, of course not - silly me . I was just going off the list at the start of the post, of course that's not the running order. Thanks.

Actually do we think it makes a lot of difference? I know on X Factor the running order is considered to make a huge difference to who people vote for.

This years love is a great song for a VW.

Unfortunately Kirsty is up against this piece of gorgeousness from Harry and Aliona.

I think I'm right in saying that so far this year everyone who has danced second has ended up in the b2, and with Daniel that was quite a shock. So yes I think it matters, when there are this many couples. I think once we are down to about eight couples and less it matters much less.

Hi Victoria. For those in danger of the B2 I think it makes a huge difference and the later your running slot (as with events like Eurovision) the better

The running order matters in the early stages ; especially for contestants who may have a dodgy fanbase ( jamelia, kirsty, carol, Ainsley. ..... ) . Yes all the contestants who danced 2nd so far ended up in the bottom 2 and Peter needs to go first for a change but I doubt they will open the show with a rumba.

Team GG or Kellie/kevin will probably open the show.

Top Helen& Aliaz again
Bottom Kirsty& Brendan Jeremy& Karen joint
Bottom 2 Kirsty& Brendan& Jamellia& Tristan wouldnt be supprised though if Katie's in trouble because as much as i like her and like Anton's hummour he can't choreograph latin. But if my brain serves me correctly after this for Latin they only have Paso Charleston Rumba and Samba left? I hope he has skipped a latin for her and preferably Rumba. I think she may have the hips for Rumba but Anton may not. I think depending when they have the Waltz if it's early enough they may be near the top of the leaderboard again or get similar scores to this week just gone
Eliminated Kirsty& Brendan

oh forgot to add if thats the case Anton tends to do a half decent Paso and Charleston so if I am right about the latins they have left and the one he has skipped the only hard one left for him is Samba and all the rest should be ballroom that he can do and latin he can produce something decent for.

Highest Scorer: Helen and Aljaz
Lowest Scorer: Ainsley and Natalie
Bottom two: Ainsley and Natalie vs Jamelia and Tristan (for some weird reason I think Kirsty and Brendan may just escape B2 this week).
Eliminated: Jamelia and Tristan

Just looked on oddschecker.com and it seems to me a lot of money has been put on jamelia being a real candidate for elimination even though she isn't the favourite to go. Her odds of going are pretty much shortening across the board.

The odds of georgia winning have shortened on 3 of the betting sites as well.

At 7/1 that's a good bet for Jamelia, probably a few like me couldn't resist

She is crap I have to say and oddschecker.com are pretty good at picking up on a trend. I think they read a lot of social media mentions and decide whether to make the odds cheaper or more expensive. Jamelia must be getting a lot of negative social media mentions to have her odds shorten to the extent they have.

You can't criticize or ignore twitter as a lot of what is on it actually happens on the night. Yes I do agree that ainsley and jamelia will most probably be in the firing line this week.

I think its a bit harsh to call her crap.. I thought her Charleston was really good and i can see her surprising quite a few people tomorrow with her foxtrot (pending her nerves being under control)

Seems quite a sea of negative change for Jamelia going

This week's exit poll:

Top: Helen, with Kellie in second and Jay in third, with no notable number of guesses for anyone else. (Kellie seems to have started pulling ahead in votes when we saw later training footage - I'd guess that if we'd seen that earlier she might be in first.)
Bottom: Ainsley has one more vote than Jeremy here, with nobody else having a notable number of votes.
Dance-off: Kirsty leads the votes here, followed by Jamelia and then Ainsley. Again, the only three frequently predicted ones.
Eliminated: Kirsty (NB that she would stay if against Ainsley, but not against Jamelia)

This week's Not Predicted By Anyone In Any Category Award goes to Katie, although Peter is a close second having only been mentioned once.

For those who think there might be a shock couple in the bottom two, maybe one of the good dancers, it should be noted that in Series 10, 11 and 12 it was Week 6/7 when one of those high up the leaderboard found themselves in the bottom two:

In Series 10 (Week 6), Kimberley & Pasha were joint 2nd and ended in the dance off with Fern & Artem who were 9th.

In Series 11 (Week 6), Abbey and Aljaz were joint 2nd and ended in the dance off with Rachel and Pasha who were 7th

In Series 12 (Week 7), Caroline & Pasha were joint 4th and ended in the dance off with Alison & Aljaz who were joint 8th

All three of these good dancers made their respective Finals and two went on to win. So, if we do see something similar this year i would not be surprised if the couple also went on to make the Final.
