Just came across this on Jeremy's twitter and I found it particularly moving and a real nice touch by both Jeremy and Karen, it's about a bench they sit on with a plaque dedicated to a young girl who was about to become a student who sadly passed away with cancer (This is all to do with the Sylvia Young Theatre School)

The video too is also a lovely gesture and it really did pull my heartstrings, something I know a lot of DS SCD forum users will enjoy...link below

I love Jeremy, and now I love him even more.

What a thoroughly nice man he seems to be and what a lovely relationship he and Karen seem to have formed.

I'm a bit of a fan of his brother Tim, too - about 4 years ago. someone I know got tickets to see him do stand up. Much as I love comedy, I wasn't terribly keen. His show turned out to be utterly brilliant and had the most wonderful warmth about it - what a clever man. I laughed myslf stupid.

Talented family of seemingly very nice people, and Jeremy and Karen will continue to get some of my votes. .

The pair of them are lovely and he and Karen have a really wonderful partnership.

I know it will bug a lot of people, but I really do hope they have a good few weeks left before they get put out.

Doesn't bug me, I hope they last a few more weeks too.

That's so touching, and beautifully written.

I've loved watching him on the show, and also hope he gets a couple of more weeks.

He is so lovely. My 18 year old daughter, who on the rare occasions she is not out with her friends on a Saturday night, usually watches for hot boys and the good dancers (she supported Pixie Lott last year). On Saturday she used one of her free votes on Jeremy as she thinks he's great. He appeals to lots of people.

Lovely story. I wonder if they will find the parents.
I too hope that Jeremy stays for a while yet.

Me too. Apart from being a lovely person he really does put a lot of effort into his performances.

That's lovely, thanks for putting the link up.

I'm so happy for Jeremy that he wasn't first out, as the betting was predicting, and is getting a chance to learn, because he seems to be enjoying it so much. And all credit to Karen, she's very good at teaching the less gifted dancers and making sure they enjoy themselves. I think they'll be in for a while yet.

What a lovely gesture and reminder of what is important. From now on I am going to try not to get involved in the negativity on here and just enjoy the banter about a great show where I can.

That must be because you don't watch the very informative VTs on a Saturday night.

I'm delighted Jeremy's still in the competition. Particularly after all those "dance experts" on DS who were convinced he was going to go out first

Karen always gives 100% and Jeremy seems to be prepared to do the same - all credit to him for that!

Plus, I have seen him tweet about things that matter to him before and he does think about things like this and empathises and cares about others.

I have just teared up reading the article. What a lovely couple Jeremy and Karen are and I wish them all the best for a few more weeks. Love how he puts SCD into perspective.
I hope they can find the girls parents and treat them to a visit to the show.

That's really lovely. It was really sweet of Jeremy and Karen to do that. I hope they find her parents. Did anyone look up the link to her memorial page? What a beautiful young lady she was.

What I like about Jeremy is that he knows his limits and he just gets on with it. I cant imagine him ever say a nasty word about anybody or bemoaning the fact that others in the show have an unfair advantage. I hope he stays a few more weeks.
