Disliking one person doesn't mean people hate Americans.

Oh I do agree with ya, even if they're in outer Mongolia, on Mars, or at the bottom of the sea.

I don't know but felt YF was a tad short tonight, or lacked something, and could be that Jack was tired as he looked it.

It feels like it's lacking something to me .... or maybe I'm just tired.

So she thinks that if she had succeeded in getting an item for free, which required little skill and no negotiation, that would have impressed Lord Sugar?

It was a cassetteboy style edit. Whether he actually says sod off we'll find out next week.

She took the piss instead.

I think if she'd stood up for herself, as Elle did, she might have survived. She did contribute last week, directing the video wall ad. Vana was the main reason for the loss and should have gone.

Jenny seems quite bright and easy to get on with. Clearly doomed to fail on the Apprentice, but likely to succeed in business.

Couldn't see this further up the thread but did anyone else notice the date on the receipt of one of the items that the girls bought was the 4/09/15, or something like that? I thought this was all filmed earlier in the summer? So I guess they still might be filming now, just?

That's possibly the 9th of April

What about a sneaky trip via an internet cafe?

The girl's team had a full-on meltdown in the boardroom debriefing there.
The only person who retained any dignity was Ruth.
The rest of them ALL had their claws out, hurling criticism around, rolling their eyes and blaming each other.

If I was AS, right now I'd be considering Ruth as the only girl worthy of winning.

It was still a boat. If they had bought a paper boat then it would have been the same as the skeleton

The other thing I meant to mention was that there seemed to be absolutely NO communication between the sub-teams with regard to comparative prices and, what's more, nobody criticised them for failing to do that.

AS made it clear that the whole point of doing the treasure-hunt task in 2 countries was because some items would be cheaper in France and some in the UK.

In practise, all that happened was one team went to France and bought all the stuff that seemed "French" while the other team stayed in the UK and bought everything else.

You'd think that's be the sort of task where they'd continuously be on the phone to each other saying stuff like "We've seen a tourist shop here with a child's dinghy for sale for €40. Should I buy it?" etc.

I don't understand that either. Selina seems like one of the more normal, reasonable candidates. Charleine was a total bitch towards her in the boardroom this week, I thought. Charleine wasn't even on the same sub team as her, but was laying into her when she hadn't been working with her?

Not really. For example, here is a quote from April.

April Jackson, one of the candidates in this year's BBC1 programme, The Apprentice.
Age : 26

Occupation : Owner, Jamaican boutique

Lives : London

Key information : Jackson is a former Miss Jamaica, who was born in London but has lived in Jamaica. She's also lived in France and studied in New York. She's founded an event management company and a children's charity.

Top quote : "I'm Jamaican. We come first, we win on the track and we will win in the boardroom."

Yet I've never heard her referred to as "The Jamaican." Or "she's obnoxious like all Jamaicane." No one would dare post that. It was said here upthread re Americans more than once.

On a side note, if she lived in France, why didn't she speak up about speaking French.
