it always seems to happen around Halloween these days, which is more americanised than British.

the last one I can remember was Peggy, finding out about Pat & Frank, and Peggy slapping them both.

The bonfire night storyline I remember the most was the Crossroads Motel fire, that was well eery, I was only a kid at the time, but the fire spread like it was burning paper, and the dredits where you saw it burn was scarey. You could it was done on the cheap, but there was no messing

I was thinking the same thing the other day too.

I'm not sure when the last big Bonfire Night story was. They should do as Binfire Night is a British thing. I'm surprised we haven't seen a fire break out in Binfire night in recent years.

Thing is, fireworks are let off any time these days, not just bonfire night - at least they are in the area I live. It's really annoying being woken up by fireworks going off at midnight at all times of the year when you have to get up early for work next day.

There was the one in Emmerdale when Sally Spode pushed Laurel in the bonfire....not sure when that was.....I think it was when the original Bartons had just moved in and had a firework party at Butlers.

I remember about 10 years ago hollyoaks had a house fire caused by Tom playing with fireworks. I think he was rescued by Ben (the fireman, not current Ben the policeman obviously)
