Never been more obvious that this format does not work. Its clear Sugar has decided who is going and in what order and its manipulating the task results to achieve this. Fair enough he does not want to invest in a dud, thats why they should go back to playing for a job.

Alan got owned on the skeleton thing. Almost everyone at the time apart from his yes men fanboys agreed that Alan was in the wrong. Looks like he's learnt his lesson.

And apparently stealing is okay.

It might have only been manure but they still nicked it.

It's rubbish, entertaining rubbish, but rubbish nonetheless. Always has been.

I fully expected the toy boat to be rejected by LS but it wasn't.

Sugar changes the rules whenever it suits him

So unfair that Felipe was fired for the skeleton but Gary didn't even get criticised

Even Claude seemed to be anticipating that they might get fined. Then again, a fine wouldn't have changed the result this time around, so maybe Sugar just decided to be generous.

Um, no they didn't. They got permission from that farm employee.

Surely there were some specifications for this boat ? Anyone remember what they were ?

My mother said it was different to the Skeleton Saga last year because there were no size specifications given for the boat but I thought it did specify that they were meant to buy a full size adult dinghy and the guy who bought it (can't remember his name!) said he was taking a risk.

I was waiting for him to announce the boys had won then jump in with a BUT and say about the boat not being correct, I think judging by the nervous looks on the boys faces they were expecting it too but alas.

It wasn't a 'toy' boat though, it was an inflatable boat of the right size.

Actually, he's not allowed to do that. There are laws regarding games and competitions within the UK. The rules of the tasks might change a bit periodically per series, but they can't be changed once already set out to the candidates. In 2007 there was a major scandal regarding the ethics of some game shows which resulted in the cancellation of some shows in their entirety and nearly all viewer competitions being cancelled on shows that managed to remain on the air. No one risks that anymore.

The length was the only thing that was actually specified, and they must have gotten that right because Claude would have pointed out if it was wrong.

I think it was simple down to the specification.

The Skelton was 'Anatomical Skeleton' whereas the other one simple said 'Inflatable Boat'. Felipe didn't buy an Anatomical Skelton so he got it in the neck, the guys bought an Inflatable boat that matched the sizes asked for.

Don't think a toy size dingy qualifies . Surely he gave them some specifications for this boat .

In that case then, the girls were pretty stupid when surely most people know kid's inflatable boats are far cheaper than proper adult ones.

At least they stopped with that one and didn't come back to the boardroom with one of these

Had to be at least a metre IIRC and the boys' boat was 62 inches long, so 1.5 metres.
