He's struggling again I see.

Which is quite ironic if he was considering firing Sam for being indecisive.

That's a very good point actually Totally hypocritical of him to call Sam out for struggling.

at this point you know exactly what he is going to say. he's going to struggle with the firing, he's going to say he doesn't want to hear anymore then someone will interrupt him and he will say it again. he'll try and make you think he's firing one person and then actually fire someone else.

To be fair, seems like next week we're getting a break from "I'm struggling" as the preview suggest Lord Sugs loses his cool in the boardroom with somebody.

Possibly it's a build up to a triple firing. He has some spare candidates to get rid of.

He could maybe change it a bit to keep it fresh. How about "I'm swishing and swooshing, tumbling and turning..."

Yes; the 'I'm struggling' phrase is used every board room now; what happened to the decisive stance he always had. I can understand he would sometimes struggle if he had to fire someone when they were all good or all equally bad however it was clear last night, that Natalie and Sam had done a bad job. I was surprised that Sam was kept in; he really couldn't make decisions and there was a very bad pricing and sales strategy on the task.

Yes, Alan Sugar took a significantly longer period of time deliberating over who he should fire than Sam took when Sugar asked him who should be fired.

In fact it would have been quite funny if when Sugar asked Sam who should be fired Sam replied to him by saying "Why are you asking me? Can't you make your mind up and you need me to help you decide?"
Naturally he would have probably got himself fired for that impertinence, but it would have been very funny to see nonetheless.

From the clip didn't he say that he was going to do something very unusual?
Seeing as firing two people in one go isn't unusual anymore, could this mean that he's going to fire all three?

Actually, has that happened before? Because I vaguely remember one series when Sugar phoned the house to tell all the candidates something like that.

I'm wondering if he's going to pick which three come back in the boardroom (I actually thought he was about to do that for the third person this week, when Sam was "struggling" )

I can't remember who or why, but last year my friend and I really wanted him to fire someone from the winning team because they made serious mistakes and the rest of the team scrambled a win.

I still hope that happens sometime if there's a good reason for it.

Yes, further to my post above yours I'm wondering also if his choice might include one or more from the winning team, if he deems it an undeserved or "dubious" victory...

It's becoming a bit of a pet hate now. Especially when he says something like, "John, you were a terrible project manager, your business plan is flawed and I don't like you. It is for that reason...... I'm struggling. Steve, you're fired".
Yes this! but im guessing it all as scripted as possible

They have their ideal top 4 and as long as someone doesn't make a huge **** p then they have their elimination order
