Yes, just poor organisation then as to what to get first as the fish was logical to be done first.
Yes, the Assumption that the Manager would have caved was bizarre. Of course there will be other things on their menu but why would they restrict their menu selling produce off wholesale?
I probably wouldn't bother going back to a restaurant as a customer that had a lot of their menu off due to lack of ingredients so they could have done their future business irreparable harm.
