ZTE AXON Elite Gifted by Chinese President
Amelia Field
22-10-2015
Hi, just noticed that in the news which is rather breaking. Here is the news link:

Chinese President visiting the UK will gift local officials with ZTE Axon

ZTE AXON Elite seems like a decent phone. I found some reviews of it:

Techradar
Androidauthority

Some brief features:
Android OS, v5.0 with 2.0GHz MSM8994, Octa-Core processor and 3GB RAM+32GB ROM

Dual SIM Card Dual Standby
5.5 inch large 5-point-touch OGS capacitive screen, with 1080x 1920 pixels FHD screen resolution
Touch ID Function.
Support OTG function.
Dual camera 13.0MP+2.0MP with auto focus and flashlight

How do you think that? Any thoughts?

I suppose it saves the Chinese the hassle of trying to hack them remotely

Yes - I would be tempted to flash it with some other firmware if I bought one.

I'm ok with the main Chinese manufacturers as they have more to loose, but not too confident on the smaller companies.

Anybody genuinely worried about that, had better go back to writing letters!, aren't the bulk of control units in Fibre and 3G / 4G cabinets already made by the Chinese? (Huawei)

BT seem to use them for FTTC

Agree, but right now I want to lay my old samsung off and buy a new one. It sells more than 400 usd in ebay. What do you think about it? Do you think it's a decent phone to grab?
