Please avoid the What's on TV website as they have messed up big time and put up an interview with Roberts shooter on their website, where they explain hi/her motives for shooting Robert along with a shock twist.

The weird thing is the article says 9pm 22nd Oct at the top. I don't know why it is available to view now. So SS were right then.

At least soapsquak is a fairly niche site so wouldn't have been seen by general viewers where as What's on TV probably has a wider audience, i posted comment on article to tell the of the balls up, and it got posted to my fb account, but managed to dete so hopefully not spoiled it for family.

I could cope with knowing the shooter, but I wish I hadn't looked because I wanted to rest to remain a secret. Oh well, I've only got myself to blame.

I'm much more interested in the other two secrets anyway. I fully expect ED to draw out the "big" Robert storyline to its utmost tedium, if it's even possible for it to be any worse.

DON'T READ THE REST OF THIS POST UNLESS YOU ALREADY KNOW WHO THE SHOOTER IS

bloody hell these websites are intent on spoiling Emmerdales glory

makes me really annoyed.

not coming back to this thread cos it is bad enough I know the shooter which has in a way spoiled the episode for me but I don't want all the details and my nosiness will open the spoiler tags if I don't stay away

The NewsNow website also has this article, so if anyone visits NewsNow website for collated Emmerdale stories, stay away until later.

It's such a shame. ED have worked so hard on keeping schtum

seriously if you don't want spoilers don't go on the internet before the episode has aired, take some personal responsibility

Yeah that's fair. However they broke an embargo which shows they can't be trusted.

well don't visit a site that trades in soap spoilers then, I'm sure it was an error, people will say remove it but someone would have grabbed a screenshot so it was too late.

If a pure viewing experience is vital to you then simply avoid these sites until 8.30pm, it's not that hard

There is either a lot of incompetence or just carelessness surrounding this whole thing. I can't remember the last time an embargoe was broken by not just one, but two websites regarding such a big storyline.

I'm assuming it is the same person named as on SoapSqwark but haven't read the article to try and not get the details though I think i've got the gist of it from what has been said.

That's down to me though, I didn't need to open this thread and read on when it was clearly about tonight's Emmerdale.

exactly everyone on here choses to use a spoiler based website so don't cry if you see 1 you wanted to miss...

If I record a sports match i want to watch pure I avoid the internet and twitter on my phone until after I've watched, If I don't and have the result "spoiled" for me that's my fault

But article was clearly embargoed until 9pm, the website put it up early, it wasn't in the spoilers section it was in the what has happened section.

you are choosing to visit a news/spoiler site, take some responsibility if a pure viewing is that important and stay off them, state secrets get leaked online do you really think Soap storylines are safe on the internet?
