I can definitely see Kerry Katona agreeing to do Strictly if she's asked. I just hope she isn't asked.
Hopefully the fact that she's done Dancing On Ice would go against her. They wouldn't sink that low.... would they?

Of course they may try to fool us and book Louise Minchin instead.
I always think she looks like Aliona

Well if we're going for TV doctors I'll suggest Stephen McGann aka Dr Turner from Call The Midwife

I seem to recall you mentioning that you don't click on links so not really worth doing is it?

As Suzi Perry didn't get the Top Gear gig I wonder if she could be tempted to Strictly?

I'd love to see Charlie Condou do it. I can't imagine it being his thing but I don't think they've had a gay parent on before so it would be interesting to see.

Paul Martin gets another vote for me as would Montserrat Lombard. I'd like to see Angela Griffin as well.

Lorna Laidlaw is one of my dream castings, so hopefully her.

Unlikely as producers like to chose celebs with actual talent. (Mark had at least done presenting work and has his own radio show)

Agree - but more likely to be Dan Walker.
Would probably be part of his contract.

Steph is a ringer, (Irish Dance champion) and would anyone care if "Sports guy" does it.

I remember her doing an Irish dance on Breakfast a while ago. She was very good.

I hope Mike Bushell doesn't do it. I don't know why but I don't really like him and have to mute the TV when he's on.

By the way, Joe McElderry is doing panto again this year so that probably rules him out.

I would love to see Mark Williams (Fast show / Father Brown/ Harry Potter) as the older male.

He has a love of old engineering stuff, and also blowing things up IIRC, so the VT's might be quite good to watch

With right partner he could easily be another Mark Benton

bib: Phew!

At least panto will keep him off the streets (although he probably wishes he was onto his 4th platinum selling album like his (equally naff) runner-up

There is a sequel to the Mrs Brown's Boys movie - depending on filming it might mean one or more the O'Carroll clan might be available.

Hopefully one of the younger ones who might actually be able to dance !!

Or Rory as a duffer

Saw a few of Holiday of My Lifetime at the weekend and wondered about Lisa Faulkner or Dan Walker - both seemed to hit it off with Len and Dan in particular may be deemed to be a good fit for the BBC having just taken over the Mon-Weds Breakfast slot from Bill Turnbull?

That's a bit harsh! Anyway he has already had 4 albums and is onto his 5th soon. He also is on a 6 month tour in the UK playing the lead in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, having also played Tommy in a short run of the rock opera.

This is after a 50+ date tour earlier in 2015 and a 40+date tour in 2014.

He is a very busy young man and still only 24!

I feel exactly the same about Mike Bushell, Gill. I find him intensely irritating!

Hoping for Emma Slater as a new pro as it looks that the DWTS in US have dumped her for some reason. She was an angel with her partners and all they've given her is a string of duffers and one that was just about middle of the pack.

I could see Ruth doing it. She's a fan of he show and has done ITT loads of times. ITV generally don't like their 'stars' doing Strictly though.

I wonder if they will still want Emma Slater after she dropped them in the shit at the last minute in 2013?
