Tony Hadley. Leading up to this series I had this weird dream he was going to be on - along with, for some reason, Marie Helvin and Toyah Wilcox

Here's an idea

![]() ![]() Also, Justin Fletcher, Richard Ayoade, David Mitchell, Victoria Coren-Mitchell, and Susan Calman. OK, so a lot of those are unlikely - but I'd love to see them do the show! |

I think it's quite likely we'll see our first YouTuber/vlogger on the show next year.
Also a thought - a Bake Off contestant who's now got a book/TV deal? Comedians aren't an area that Strictly has mined that much so more of them could be interesting. |

As I was channel flicking the other night, I caught an old episode of Birds of a Feather and wondered why she hadn't done it yet. Seems like someone who ought to have been on before now!
Sorry, bit rude. |

Adding an "out of left field" suggestion: Tom Croft, rugby player for Leicester. He's 6'6" (so one for Natalie
) and has some contemporary, modern and street dance experience. So, ringah! ![]()

Indeed. In the first week of the show the OP was suggesting contestants for next year.

My vote - Simon Cowell. And he might be available judging by this year's X-Factor ratings. |

Simon Cowell and Germaine Greer . Purely for their reaction to critiques .
![]() Other than that I'm generally happy with the usual recipe , some soap stars, an actor or two, a failing boy-bander , a sports person or two and a couple of flat footed clunkers for pointing and laughing purposes . Edited to add , any entrants with stage school/dance school experience should only be accepted if the experience was no more than two years long . Ballet doesn't count, it's too specific to matter and can even be a hindrance . |
