Good evening Corrie fans one and all.

I'm getting in very, very early so that I don't forget. Thank you to the glamorous Rita’s Kabin and the ever-tasteful agatha_crispies for this week’s threads. Thanks also to dullagj for giving me a second chance after I completely forgot the last time I was bestowed with episode thread duties.

Tonight’s spoilers brought to you by Audrey 'This radio has your name all over it' Roberts:

Spoiler

Spoiler

Just for fun …

Korner Kabin’s Korrie Kwiz

Music Round

Follow the links to listen to the music. Every song has appeared in Coronation Street at some point since 1960 and is connected to memorable* moments on the cobbles. Some are more obvious than others, some are that bit harder. Can you identify the moments from the songs?

Answers are in the spoiler tags below the question.

Good luck, darling!

*I use the term loosely

1. Keep on running - The Spencer Davies Group

2. (Is this the way to) Amarillo? - Tony Christie

3. Oasis - Whatever

4. On A Tree By A River A Little Tom Tit

5. Can You Feel The Force? - The Real Thing

6. Natural Woman - Carole King
Spoiler

7. Prince Charming - Adam & The Ants

8. Down at the old bull and bush

9. Last Christmas - Wham!

10. You and me song - The Wannadies

Let us know how you get on, hmmm?

Enjoy Corrie, luvveh!

Thank you Foxy!! I was starting to worry that nobody would reply and that by 7:20pm I'd be bumping it up from page 4!

Well done on the quiz ... I guess it was harder than I thought!

Great thread KK, must have taken you ages.

The only one I remembered was Oasis for the Tracey murders Charlie scene, but a lot of them came back to me when I watched them again. Great to hear some excellent choons again anyway. xx

My favourite has to be Natural Woman, (along with everything else ever written by the sublime Carole King). Love that Oasis song too.

And yes, No.4 was sadly ironic. Would be lovely if they played that song from The Mikado at Peter Baldwin's funeral.

It's ages since I saw the canal ep(s) but recently a load of episodes from the early 00's were uploaded to Youtube and its been great watching them back and comparing them to how I remember them considering I havent seen some of them since original transmission.
