On a serious note, the actor's just as awful as Christine as he is as Les.

I actually thought she looked more like Bethany Platts other grandma, barmy Brenda played by Julia Deakin

He's better acting as Christine than he is at playing les! Lol
before he revealed himself, I was thinking Les prancing round in a dress is going to be awful but was nicely suprised. think EE have got this right, I even feel sorry for Chirpy! Roger Sloman said he had been wearing womens clothes so that when it happened on screen he would feel comfortable. he pulled it off and deginitely looked comfortable. Christine also doesn't pull the silly faces so far |

Tonight's episode - or at least the Les/Christine scenes - were terrific. Uncomfortable, funny, dark and really powerful. The writers deserve immense credit for not simply giving us a 'right on' everyone immediately understands it kind of thing. It's good too that there's been humour in there. When Paul walked in I nearly fell off my sofa.

I disagree with the above comments. I thought the actor looked totally uncomfortable, which if he'd been dressing as Christine for only a few weeks or something, would have made sense but considering she's been a part of him for a decade, then he should have been comfortable, surely? But then maybe he was just uncomfortable dressed as her in front of Pam?

Hmm, maybe a slight resemblance to Audrey. Probably more styling than actual features.

Audrey should pop over to the East End for a heart to heart with Pam. She does have her own experience with cross-dressing beaus after all.
