I apologise. Sorry I wasn't allowed access to the studio so I can find out who wrote what (it's all kept secret...wonder why). I guess I should just swallow whats written on the paper and not think for myself. So in that case I better start believing that Beyoncé writes and doesn't buy credits...mhahahahah...that will be the day...!

This is so GL. You were a TS stan until she went from writing in a diary about cheerleaders and princesses and captains of football teams (thats all in one song y'all!! She must have been up past her bedtime when that was penned) and moved to pop music, MAX MARTIN and a huge STABLE of writers on every single song. Stable is your word not mine.
Adele wrote Rolling in the Deep with Paul Epworth. He has talked about it at length. Those words are hers. She won the highest songwriting award in the UK. The Ivor Novello. What's your point here again? Oh yeah, you don't have one. Except to rip Adele, the "pub singer". I've seen Adele live a half dozen times and have personally seen her play bass guitar and sing Best For Last and guitar and play Daydreamer and Crazy For You (all three songs she wrote by herself). I was maybe 5 feet away. She was the only musician on the stage when she performed btw. I've also seen TS 4 times in concert (to review her openers usually-the perils of my job). She has someone on that stage playing the same instrument (only better). It's smoke and mirrors. Got to love pop stars GL! So glad you are back! This new era for 25 is going to be amazing! She just broke Taylor's record for Youtube views in 24 hours. Aww, thats gotta hurt GL. There will be many more broken records before this era is finished.

Well you would think that. I'm yet to see a single comment about how Adele writes everything alone or plays all of the instruments. You're really grasping desperately at straws now, it's actually quite depressing to watch.

I like the idea that no one can legitimately write different sounding songs btw.

You don't have to be depressed. When I was 13 I was listening to Nirvana and Guns N' Roses. You were listen to pop music to make mummy and daddy proud. I know what real music is and I know what real talent is. I am not saying Adele has no talent, but I know there is more to her music than her. Likewise I know a Fiona Apple album is all Fiona Apple.

I'm pretty sure I'm not looking dumb in this thread. I think the ones who look dumb are the ones who respond with "Lennon and McCartney" wrote together. Yeah...they were were in a band called The Beatles idiots.

I am looking dumb? From reading through this thread I have a far superior vocabulary to you. My posts also have a lot more conviction than yours. I appear to have more in depth knowledge on music than you. But keep telling yourself I look dumb if that makes you feel better.

I like the fact that your music collection is 100% based upon the top 10 singles chart yet you think you can debate music with me...lol.
You aren't debating music in any conceivable way. You're trolling. |

I'll ask you to go to the post where I said those words. I've had to ask you twice to do this now so I'd ask you to not make up things. I look forward to you quoting where I've said "Beyoncé writes her songs".
You agree that Max Martin does a lot...yet you also refuse to believe that the artists he works with don't do a lot. You think I'm dumb because I have an argument which I do back up with facts but you simply refuse to accept them. At least I have an objective. You seem to have your blinkers and refuse to budge on the fence. Keep believing the writing process is split equally if that makes you sleep better at night. I suppose you think Wayne Rooney typed his own autobiography too? |

To be honest Hollie...I am not sure what argument you have or are trying to make?

Trolling? What a cop out. My threads get multiple replies, have a search. My opinions get people going...it isn't trolling it's challenging people and their perceptions. If you can't handle that don't jump in the fire. I can always pretend to be a Little Mix fan and start posting how amazing they are though if it's all getting too much for you...

Making comments about my music collection (of which you know nothing) and asking how dare I debate you on music. With such childish bravado as this, I would hope you're just trolling. If not, then you have bigger issues than Adele's album credits.

People have just asked for facts. Because you can't deliver them you just make assumptions about people because it makes you feel better than they are. All people have done is asked for facts not opinions dressed up as facts.
