Raising a glass to Eastenders Roger Sloman and Lin Blakley
Both gave brilliant heartwarming performance tonight on a delicate sensitive topic. Very well played all round and surpassed my expectations.
Big well done to both of them for a memorable truly emotional impressive performance. 👍

I've always been a fan of the Cokers but tonight showed them in a really positive light, let's hope the haters climb into their corner for a wee while

They were fabulous tonight and did the story justice. I had butterflies for Pam and Les when Christine arrived, if that makes sense.

Apparently the first time Lin saw Roger as "Christine" was the actual filming as she wanted an authentic reaction. Well done to both.

Lin Blakley and Roger Sloman were fantastic. I just realised that Roger has purposefully hammed up Les for ages but when he played Christine, he was flawless and his acting was excellent. I really hope we will see more of the Cokers from now on. Their storyline is very moving.

I've never really been a fan of the Cokers but they have been really good this week since the secret came out and Pam meeting Christine tonight was really well done IMO. I even thought Paul being in the mix was good. Eastenders have done the story well I think.
Roger and Lin were great in their performances

It's not nice to call people haters. Besides we're talking about the actors here.☺

I think when people on here constantly call characters and actresses "cows" on here which I never would as I respect women, I think haters is as pleasant a word as I could find for some of the bile that is spilt on here, I think your attention to nastiness is good Val but I think you will find it should perhaps be directed at somebody who deserves it. I love EastEnders and am growing to love the forum but still find some of the language and etiquette difficult to fathom. By the way I do like and respect you but I think there's far worse than me on here. Thanks

I wonder if this story was planned from the very beginning?

Always been a fan of the Cokers, but Roger Sloman really upped his game this week, gave such a believable performance.

They were excellent, and I've had my doubts about them before, to say the least.

He acts way better as Christine which is kind of funny, I always found Les way too over the top.
