I know people will say no straight away but let's just look at how poetic it would be.

If they did bring him back and ended up in hospital and found his fate by GHK Lindsey it will probably be one of the most poetic SL's in a soap.

1) Lynsey & Lindsey have many similarities, Dr Browning picked up on this and when he imagined Lindsey to be Lynsey Nolan a number of times.

2) Silas will be fascinated with Lindsey due to her similarities with Lynsey, both hospital staff, looks, cleverness & obviously ur same name.

3) It will be like a trilogy. 1st - Silas Vs Lynsey Nolan. 2nd - Silas Vs Texas. 3rd & last in the trilogy - Silas Vs Lindsey Butterfield, however what he doesn't know is, this Lindsey is also a serial killer, he would underestimate her, he could also see her as Lynsey Nolan.

How poetic would it be for Silas to meet his match by Lindsey Butterfield, who is also a serial killer with many similarities to Lynsey Nolan!

They should really bring him back and tie up loose ends. He could back after finding out he has just weeks to live and wants one last try on Mercedes - the one who lived and has still survived unlike Lynsey & Texas who found their fates from other killers. While in a final showdown with Mercedes she could injure him & he's taken to hospital, there he meets Lindsey & soon finds her his latest obsession as she is a type of Lynsey Nolan in his sick mind. However, this is a woman Silas shouldn't underestimate as she's also a serial killer & is now his comeuppance, as he's playing one of his mind games she pulls out the drugs and explains who she is giving him a final dose.

I know people won't take to this as they would like Silas to be out there, but for SL and a nice poetic round up, it will make a brilliant ending to Silas' story. As he didn't have long left anyway, so even though he's out there he's terminally ill (it was said) so is a goner soon if not already dead!

Thoughts?

Also, if Silas did come back, some good scenes could be seen between him and new characters like Grace, Sienna, Nico etc.

I'd say 100% if there was any chance they wanted Silas back, it would have been this week.

No I completely disagree with that. There was too much focus on other SL's & there wouldn't have been much of a kick from the GHK reveal if he came back this week. It would have taken the shine way off the Lindsey reveal he returned this week too!

Maybe they will keep him for the 21st Birthday. Hopefully he'll come back then & Lindsey will kill him, that would be a brilliant 21st for them.

No. Why should he kill Lindsey? That will be the poetic bit gone completely out the window. Lindsey has a story to go yet, Silas' story is done with really. And if he kills Lindsey it's not really poetic is it? It will be a lot more poetic if Lindsey killed Silas and he's her downfall with the police and getting caught.

Or do you not get the poetic part? Or just not read my points I made?

Maybe yeah, but it was just a couple of weeks back that the actor came out saying he wouldn't mind coming back, which is why I thought a good time would have been now.
I always thought they should have had more than just the 1 returning character for this anniversary.
You're right though, they might have a celebration for the 21st too, although that would mean dragging hte GHK story out a whole year.

I'd love to see Silas get her, not the other way round, I must admit.

BK said that up until the GHK reveal it the all was only Chapter one and there's a long way to go yet with Lindsey and sea sticking around, so I think it will be dragged or for a year at least.

And it wouldn't really be poetic if Silas killed Lindsey though would it?

Silas shouldn't come back. He was an amazing character with an amazing story that ended perfectly.

I think it would be deeply poetic if Silas came back and killed everyone.

Then got back on the bus with a tip of his hat, and disappeared. Fade to black.

If alias was to return, I feel it should have been with will. from his visits and then his slow gradual move to insanity, I feel him having worked under silass's orders was fitting for his character and may have made sense given his main kill was Texas!

Lindsay is different...from the angle they've pushed is that she has issues and when she loses control, she kills. In some ways I still feel Will suited the typeof story right now.I' to sure Lyndsay does! I get her killing a dr browning but not phoebe, dylan etc.. with no remorse. and it seems it seems more about control. ie. her crazy sister now responsible for keeping her sane and in control to stop her killing more people! Although makes sense in that, noone else, other than a gym-type character would have stood by he, other than maybe Freddie at a push!
