I think it just feels a bit unfair that some people consistently get a more prominent placing on the show - and it does seem to help or hinder you in terms of votes, when you appear on an episode. Second on is considered a 'death slot' although Carol bucked the trend this week and avoided the dance-off, so nothing is a certainty.

I think arguably the bigger issue is that Peter is quite a lot worse than a few people despite high expectations and his perceived head start, and some who started well below him could probably out-dance him comfortably now.

It's Television Producing 101. Start with a bang (ish), then save the best (or perceived best) until last, keep the viewers watching right to the end.

While you have disparity of talent, you're going to get a corresponding disparity in positioning within the running order, with the better celebs turning up near the end more often than otherwise.
