I could have understood if Len had made a slip up as he has just had an op and is probably on painkillers.

But even Len realised that Bruno had said the wrong thing and tried to hide his face

No of course it's not swearing, well not to me. I only count f*** and c*** and I say both of them.

The WI, are you serious? plenty of people from the WI swear a lot worse. As do vicars and their wives

but hopefully not around people who might find it offensive.

Bollocks is an expletive, however Bruno meant the actual phrase to be, so it is swearing.

How am I supposed to know who may or may not chose to be offended.

I don't give a toss, if I'm not setting out to offend a person, it's entirely their issue if they decide they are offended.
And I don't agree with censorship so a person telling another they are offended by some words they say shouldn't cause those words to become taboo.

He did not mean it as a swearing though. He meant that it had balls, testosterone, macho, pick your word.

Nice and thoughtful person.

The point of having a pre watershed prime tv show and one aimed at families, is that you just can't swear, full stop. It is not censorship, it is rules on what should or can be broadcast.

Its not all about him.”

I think Bruno is often more harsh that Craig. He's just a totally parody of himself now - enough.

I am actually but I completely disagree that narrow minded bigots should be able to stop free speech by saying they are offended. Imagine how that would work if it was followed as you seem to suggest

I think this may be too complex for you,

I'd actually say whatever I wanted. I don't necessarily use those words to call people names.

So you do not use bad language around anyone it might offend, not difficult. If in doubt then don't swear. It can be excused if someone bangs their finger with a hammer but not in normal conversation or with others around.

Wrong place for this debate ..... but I reckon freedom of speech is about rather more than not giving a damn about using foul language no matter who might be hearing it.
Sorry you don't get that simple idea.
Over and out.

Couldn't agree more, especially as we know that, in these modern enlightened times, kids never hear their parents swear nor, indeed, do they ever swear themselves.

Would you use four letter words in front of a child, not necessarily your own, to fully explore the ideals of 'free speech'?

This - Craig's is all pantomime. Bruno is out-and-out spiteful...and I love the way Craig told him so tonight.

If Bruno doesn't know by now that "bollocks" is swearing, then he should not be allowed near a live TV set ever again.

I've noticed it on DWTS as well. I think he seems less offensive to people because of the clownish camp act, but he can be much more personal and nasty than anyone else. He acts like an excitable child, but he's in his 50s fgs. He knows what he's saying and doing.

I agree Bruno gets carried away and is a little disconcerting when he laughs at the celebrity when he tells them they are no good. That said this week it is Bruno that needs replacing, last week it was Len, the week before it was Darcey ...

But I think we unanimously agree that he was a nightmare tonight - even before the swear word. Very unnecessarily spiteful (particularly towards Jeremy & Carol).

Perhaps we are also correct that the entire panel needs refreshing....

Agree completely with those who are saying Bruno is far too personal. I cringe when it comes to his critique, he is spiteful and adds nothing at all to the judges' comments imo. Every week he stands up and does the same gestures with his hips, completely attention seeking. I don't have a problem at all with the judges critiquing the dancers on their technique etc but making personal comments about people's appearance to get a laugh is just embarrassing. When a learner is trying hard to throw themselves into something and lose their inhibitions, it must be hard to be told you look "odd" or "weird" and then come back the next week without feeling completely self-conscious. I think the audience tonight felt he'd gone too far with what he said to Carol.
