Sorry, but I didn't know either. I thought it was just a polite word for testacles. I certainly wouldn't use that one in front of kids

But seriously who are the people who ring up and complain about these slips , who hasn't heard the word b****cks before

To be fair she was probably hearing panicked voices in her earpiece .. must throw you off a bit and then it's left to her to apologize. Head judge should apologize .. or Bruno.

A lot of children watch.

Exactly. And how many children do you think have never heard the word outside of Never, Never land?

That would be fair enough if it was just adults watching but the BBC sell this as a family show. I watch with my six year old every week and was about as impressed as Tess with Bruno tonight I admit my daughter didn't take any notice but that doesn't make it right and if she had and decided to tell her teacher for example something was bollocks i would be called to the school the same day. Bruno needs to rein himself in and realise the audience of the show.

I didn't ring to complain btw

He certainly did. As an Italian he should have said testicoli

Children also know about poo and pee, but that doesn't mean we need to show it on TV.

Do you think Bruno's still sitting on the naughty step?

I find him OTT at the best of times but I've found him quite rude and very cutting this series.

You mean they don't already show it on TV? Well, that's certainly shattered my illusions and no mistake.

Some of the dances come close to be fair.

I could have sworn I heard the bulls bullocks. Will have to watch again. I wondered why Tess apologised for Bruno.

And yet some people still vote for them and pay for the privilege. The viewing public, eh? Makes me glad I'm not one of them.

Presumably because her producer was having a near heart attack backstage.

Bruno has been out of sorts all series this year. Rude, petulant, and very childlike in his actions.
So glad even Craig told him off, poor Darcey just wanted to crawl away I think.

I bet she thought her ear drum was going to burst when the producer shouted in her ear to apologise for Bruno.

So anyone that thinks differently to you is a narrow minded bigot?

It does not matter, many parents try to protect their children from bad language and it is not expected before the watershed and especially on a family programme like Strictly Come Dancing.

I think one of us is taking my posts far too seriously, and I'm almost positive it's not me.

I wonder if he should be ordered to apologise on the Sunday night programme or ITT? Or is it better to not draw further attention to it on air.

Doesn't Bruno say something suspect every week? Where do we draw the line between Strictly-approved ("bloody") and apparently profanity ("bollocks")? Either way, I'm not going to get to see him "swearing" because the BBC are delaying the upload to iPlayer so they can edit it out. Yay, censorship!

Considering how pathetically childish Strictly is getting I wouldn't be surprised if Bruno was asked to compare Jeremy to a zombie so they could do a 'hilarious' cartoon on It Takes Two for it, as they did with Craig's 'stork which has been electrocuted' comment... even if it did look more like a seagull.

He really needs a Clarkson style formal 'Final Warning', presuming he has been warned previously to control himself.
