What's with the "never liked Jay"? I don't like or dislike him.

Now please stop making comments about me.

He was doing the jive from Pulp Fiction- I don't see either John Travolta or Uma Thurman being joyful or fun in the film, so he got the character spot on IMO.

He has not produced a performance .....what planet are you on.

I know . 25 acting 12 is pushing the boundaries of believable considering his career .
But then why would he drop the act when it is working for him and getting him cute little boy epithets ? And votes

You just couldn't make it up Or maybe they did?

His shaping was good, but yes, it was just walking and posing in a butch manner . Being tall helps in some dances , paso and tango in particular . It's easier to look butch when towering over a female . All in all it was an ok dance , but I expected him to come back from the brink with something with more content this week .”

You find Jay false and over rated, yet you like the slimy Andre, the biggest phony ever to appear on Strictly.

I don't frequent the SCD forum on a daily basis, but whenever I do, I think yours is one of the names that stands out as frequently commenting on Jay in a negative manner.

But you're entitled to your opinion of course, and to like or dislike whoever you want

The constant digs are getting a bit boring to read, though

Jay's Paso didn't do anything for me, I preferred Anita's Tango

You are getting too personal .
Not everyone falls for his pretendy charm, simple as that , and personal digs at those not agreeing with you are not helping his cause .

I think there was an undercurrent of fun in the dance in the film, but even if that's taken out of the picture, Jay's jive failed to express the same character; and there was easily 10 times more chemistry and character in the film version.

Sure, when you stop making idiotic, unfair comments about Jay, you can't take criticism, but you are quick enough to dish it out at every opportunity.

Why can those lauding jay not defend him without resorting to comments like that ?

You are not supposed to attack posters . It's possible to disagree without getting personal . She/he doesn't like jay . Nor do I . Nor do lots of people . It doesn't make us right or wrong , it's just an opinion .

Well, you are most certainly ARE helping his cause, with your snide, bitchy remarks which you roll out with tedious regularity. They just make his fans like him even more.

So it's ok for those who like other contestants to be rude about Jay, but not the other way round?
