I think so.

Mouths weren't moving in time.

Yeah, it sounded too 'perfect'

Yep I think they were.

I think there's a lot of post-production going on this year to make everyone sound better than they really are.

None of them sound right, they have all been enhanced massively

Yeah seemed dubbed to me

Definitely and there is too much of it this year to make everyone seem better than they are.

That's exactly what I was thinking! It sounded like a recording rather than live. With all the dancing they were doing you would have been able to hear some sort of breathing/wobbling in their voices at least to mimic all the movement they were doing, but it was too perfect and seemed like too much music in the background when usually on judges houses there's just a few instruments playing.

These two guys who are on at the moment are definitely miming too!!

they were all miming

reggie and bollie were even more blatant

I thought the were miming too, probably because their vocals are not good...

It's the post production, they were probably singing live but the autotune etc was added in editing.

Totally miming

Made them sound better then leave the auto tune off when they want to get rid in the lives

To me it sounded as though all of the the vocal performances were recorded at the auditions which then went into post production. Mixing / EQ'ing / autotune / vocal effects et al would have been used in this process to give a more polished result.

OMG I never realised until you guys pointed it out!

X Factor is just getting worse and worse this year!

Yeah there was a lot of post-production on the vocals, much more than at the previous stages. I was surprised at 6 Chair how they left people's vocals mostly untouched, when at Bootcamp there seemed to be plenty of autotune going on... and now it was back in full force!

Though I wonder with the group performances if they recorded the vocals earlier then 'performed' (mimed ) them to Cheryl. Whatever happened it seemed completely false. Too polished.

Changing the vocals is one of the ways they can enhance poor singers and reduce the quality for singers that do well, thus justifying producers decisions. i can't believe people can't see this

It is not an amateur contest this year, they're all experienced performers. You can tell by how they work with a mike...always a give-away for an amateur.

I like Max...there's something 'Paulo Nutini' about him.

Every single act was either miming or massively overdubbed in post production

The show is as fake as Simon's butch image

Josh daniel was really blatant with the miming. It sounded like somebody stuck on a cd with grimy and ronson sitting there like he was some major singing talent when all he did was lip synch to the whole song. This was pathetic.

Remember the old days when they just walked up and sang a song acoustically

No backing singers, No music, no interference
