Just watched their jive. I think I'm in the minority as I quite like Kellie and while it was good, it was nowhere near as good as Jay and Aliona. Didn't like the music choice or the spy theme.

Agree with everyone about the screaming, enough already, as for their jive it was ok, not brilliant, l thought that her feet looked strange, the kicks and flicks didn't look right to me, it was very energetic and good in places, but compared to other jive's I've seen it was middle of the road, don't think it deserved any nines.

I kept on thinking "This is a weird Charleston".
The whole theming felt more like a Charleston than a jive
One bit that confused me- they danced to front (furthest from stage), then Kevin ran back to suitcase, looked back at Kellie (who was now off camera) then ran back to her and started the move I call the helicopter.
I suspect that Kellie did some move that helped the story make sense, but the cameraman missed it.

In all honesly I'm not keen on Kevin the Duracell bunny from Grimbsy....combine that with the shreiking Kellie and it's a match made in hell ..for me anyway.

I really don't think it necessary to go into so much detail especially when its not pleasant. Before you have a go at me, I don't really like the OTT personna either and find it very offputting. But surely thats all you need to say?
Her personality is pretty stage school, its easy to see that she has been in showbiz since she was a kid.
I was rather surprised to discover she played the same character as Alyssa Milano (from Who's the Boss) on The Upper Hand, because she looks a lot older than Alyssa despite being a few years younger. Difference between Hollywood and Borehamwood right there

Yes, the squealing like a teenager does grate somewhat. If she'd just calm down a bit, she wouldn't be so bad. As it is, she and Kevin do make an irritating pairing.
I found her jive to be quite stompy and a bit lacking in bounce, but what do I know? I'm not a dancer, and the judges seemed to like it. I still think Jay & Aliona's was better, though, as was Scott & Natalie's from Series 8.
