No they're not, Bupsi should not have gone through though, as much as I love her

Artists like Iyaz and Omi along with shaggy have done well in the UK and global charts so I think these guys could do very well indeed

Their style of singing is not to my taste, but they are not in any way a joke act.

Not for me, it's the fact that they did a karaoke Reggae version of an overdone uptempo track on the show, and I feel that when they transfer over to the lives that they'll be awful as they'll just be another act using Simon's gadgets to make themselves appear more interesting than they actually are in my opinion.

Not a joke act per se. Closer to a novelty act .

Right now, I can see them avoiding the sing-off until week 5 where they'll be saved against one of Rita's girls just to create headlines for the wrong reasons, it's so obvious.

That sounds like a replay of Jeward and Lucie

Except Simon slated Jedward from week 1...

Yeah, it seems that the producers want to create a repeat of that moment.

I still think that they are great. They make me happy.

It's nice to have a fun act on the show.

Yes. One hit wonders like the Baha Men. But to be fair they just seem to be enjoying themselves and have no pretensions about becoming huge artists.

Reggie and Billie weren't a joke act at the auditions. I loved them before the live shows. Now, they seem to have been turned into a joke. Mthe reason for this is the songs chosen for them. X factor would be a far better show without mentors. If the acts chose their own songs and were allowed to be the kind of artist they want to be it would be a far more credible show. As it is. It's a continual churning out of the same kind of singers using the same songs. Reggie and Billie are a bit different. Therefore they are being marketed as the joke.

Although to be fair, they are limited in the songs they can sing....

I haven't yet heard them doing any actual proper singing.....

So far their songs have been karaoke reggae, and a sort of talking singing as was last Saturday night.

If the theme is love and heartbreak this week, not sure how they'll do a ballad....

They could quite easily do Sean Kingston - Beautiful Girls in their talky reggae stylee. The song would fit the theme although I suppose singing the words 'suicidal' isn't appropriate at present.

Sean Paul - She Doesn't Mind
Wayne Wonder - No Letting Go
Kevin Lyttle - Turn Me On
Beautiful - Damian Marley

Any of those could work with the theme - though about as much chance of any of those being picked as their song as me growing another head

My thoughts exactly......as far as RAndB are concerned. ...they are making me smile when I watch them every night. ....so joke or no joke act, I hope they do well from this!!!???

A show that doesn't allow you to develop and be 'original' is a wasted show imo....and I won't spend any money voting for them whilst they are not given the opportunity to be just that. ....ORIGINAL AND UNIQUE!!!!

Reggie etc. will slay it at the Royal Command Performance, when Her Majesty will wine up her waist like it was 1978.

If they did manage to reach the final, I wonder who the celebrity duet would be

Actually they might have Will.i.am again - he sang with Cher Lloyd.
