He'll be put through to the lives as this year's joke act

I think he's the one who could be the most commercially successful. He's in the right genre for what's hot right now.

He doesn't have the right attitude and didn't exactly wow tonight. The two with the most commercial look and sound for me were Josh and Ben.

I'm going to take my complaint of singing in a high-pitched voice out on him.

I blame the X factor, but the last five years has seen a reservoir of male acts singing in what they think is a nice high pitch. It's awful 90% of the time.
(It's going to sound slightly hypocritical but in case I contradict myself in other threads, I personally like Che's vocals and am fine with his vocal control)

What makes it worse is that they are given massive credit for it by the judges. As a result, the cat, the horse, the aardvark and everyone's doing it.

Mason will probably get through. But his performance in the house was rubbish. At least try and use a normal singing voice.

I can't help but like Mason. Yes I know his attitude was bad at the SCC but I think that he's talented.

I actually was impressed by his performance tonight all things considered, he had far less time to rehearse than the others plus he's had to deal with all the personal attacks aimed at him the last few weeks.

I think he was a major disappointment tonight. He appeared to be someone with a bit of an edge at the auditions but there he was at judges houses totally castrated by tptb, even singing in a high voice and humbly minding his p's and q's. A bit pathetic really.

In my opinion, he's bloody awful.

I picked Ben as a potantial winner weeks ago because he fits the mould of the type of male act the voters usually go for. ie. James Arthur, Matt Cardle, Ben Haenow.

Funny how he's lost his 'street' accent now and is suddenly middle of the road

I don't think that's he lost his edge, I just think that he wanted to show a different side to him. Afterall we know that he can perform and do uptempo numbers. Maybe he just wanted to show he can do slow numbers as well.

Think he is a total knobber but to be fair, his performance was good tonight. I would give him a place.

He is a wannabe Justin timberlake.

Instead, he showed that he can't.

We need some male eye candy this year and Mason is a super hunk

I love him! I thought the song choice was great, showed he's diverse and I thought he did a good job of it. I just can't see Grimmy putting through fodder like Ben & Simon; I think he'll go for Sean, Che & Mason.

I thought he was rapping before in his '47 second' audition. He can't actually sing very well.

To be fair, a lot of the male singers in his genre (Chris Brown, Trey Songz etc) have the same thin, slightly whiny voices. So if they can have commercial hits then Mason probably could too.

The guys who lost seats lost seats because they were deemed weaker than the final six

Mason Noise would have got a chair had he not been kicked off and in fairness for someone who reached six chair 40 seconds was a short snippet.

Hence it made more sense to bring him back why bring someone back who was weak.

Nah, he's this years this 'edgy' act; following in the footsteps of noted, memorable luminaries such as Frankie What's-his-name.
