Which male celebs did the best rumbas in past series?

Was it Louis?

Colin Jackson, Colin Jackson and Colin Jackson.

Others have applied and been deemed vaguely competent, but, despite hopeful scores in the same realm, have fallen short.

Louis Smith for me although it was part of his fusion dance.

And of course, Scott Maslen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzXbtWUMa0c and Ricky Whittle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAszZAQtkQw

for me the best male rumba has to be colin jackson - which was Matt Cutlers work not Erin's

I don't care whose work it was (and let's face it, it was mainly Colin's ) - it was still by far and away the best male rumba (and close to the best rumba generally) ever.

But yay - good work Matt!

Only Colin Jackson, as far as male celebs go!

I don't even rate all the male pros' rumbas... James Jordan was in a league of his own. At a push, I'd say my second pick would be Vincent.

Thanks I've just watched these two. I think Scott Maslen was good , but Ricky Whittle had too many turns in his dance and he can't turn properly

The strange thing is that Chris Hollins did a very good rumba and repeated it in the semis.

Scott didn't seem comfortable at all.

Wasn't in worse when he repeated it though?

O lordy Ricky Whittle Don't care about his turns, he is/was hot! He could have had me if he'd played his cards right.

Thank you for posting the link, just off to the shower (a cold one)

Harry Judd and Matt Baker did the best male rumbas for me

Chris Hollins greatly under-rated sweet rumba. Colin, I agree, and the bit that Louis did in his fusion was excellent.

Mostly I hate it.

I thought Peter did a creditable dance tonight with very good choreography from Janette, but I didn't like the staging with very harsh red lights round them.

Given Chris Hollins' Rumba was only his 2nd dance, it was damn impressive.

I thought the technique was about the same but the music choice (Total Eclipse Of The Heart) pushed Ola into some silly naff OTT choreography and him over the edge of the cliff with her.

Matt di Angelo's rhumba on Christmas day Strictly was very good, but because it wasn't on the main series it was easily forgotten.

For me, the rhumba is not my favourite dance. For me it's all about the male & I don't enjoy it as a dance of 2 people.

In terms of blokerumbas that were actually tehnically quie crap, but which weren't cringy and actually arguably quite endearing, I would also put in for Ben Cohen.
