If Grimmy considers his own taste and having a spread of style, he could go for Che, Mason & Ben, I just don't see the need for Sean with Bupsi and Anton and a few of the girls who can belt songs.

Mason
Seann

Have to go through

After just watching the judge's houses I think Josh deserves the 3rd spot, they may put Simon through.

Che, Ben, Seann. Shame only 3 can go through.

For me it would be Seann, Ben, and Mason/Josh.

My favourite is Mason by far. This is the X Factor after all, he's the one closest to having it.
Contestants like Che are killing this show with boring.”

I'm all up for fresh starts at the live shows, but so far I agree with you.

We've got a million Che's in the Music Industry, and on the show itself in other categories, do we really need another one?

Well assuming Seann and Mason are locks, what are the other options besides Che for third place? We've got Will Young-style momma's boy Simon, bland forgettable Josh, and then there's Ben whose husky tone while initially quite pleasant on the ear grows tiresome and boring after hearing it for more than half a minute.

If you're looking for someone "different" then excluding Seann and Mason I think you're out of luck, so by default I think you have to go for the best singer left which is Che.

Well as I'm into Rock Music I would take Ben at this point out of the remaining ones that you've left it between.

This! I couldn't put my finger on it as to what it was about Simon's performance, but yes he's like Will Young, Mark 2. The way he sings and mannerisms while doing it.

I do like Will Young, but his star didn't shine for very long. His latest song hasn't exactly set the world alight either.

Ben (should be in a band) Simon ( seems to have great technique but no heart) and Josh ( just another good looking guy who can sing ) are all rather boring. If I was into tea or coffee I would be putting the kettle on during their oerformances.”

He murdered it. It was criminal. The original is sublime; HIS rendition was bloody awful.

Sean and Che with one of either Ben or Josh for me. Leaning more towards Ben because I think he might be a bit more interesting in the lives, where Josh seems more likely to get forgotten in the crowd. Saying that I could see Josh being more ready to make a career out of this than Ben so I like the pair of them

For arguments sake though I'll say Sean, Che and Ben

I thought Simon easily before last night but I wasn't keen on last nights performance. Really not keen on Mason and haven't been since his first audition

Mason

I used to really like Simon but that's because I thought he was a bit different and vocally interesting. He's actually incredibly bland and dull. All he's sung are big, painfully generic diva songs which his voice isn't even strong enough for. He lacks control and range - especially evident in First Time which Matt absolutely trounces him on. His higher range is abysmal - esp falsetto (should learn how to use it properly from someone like James Arthur). He hasn't even got a vocal quirk/interesting style/personality which someone like Havva has in bucketloads. He's incredibly cute and I suspect that's why most like him but as a vocalist/artist/even entertainment-wise he's so dull and weak.

ben is by far my preferred choice of the 6 boys but i thought the song he did last night was a bit "safe" and he really needed to do something with a bit more edge to really stand a chance of making the final three

hope i am wrong tho

Totally disagree - can you recall what Mr. Ronson's comment was after Seann's audition? I would think he knows a thing or two about music - and I agreed with him wholeheartedly

Josh, Ben and Che would be my choices but I doubt very much they will be the ones who go through.

Seann is an absolute cert to get through but he's not to my taste at all. Far too theatrical and I hate the way he turns every song into a show tune.

Mason didn't get brought back for nothing and so I can see him getting the vote.

Simon passes me by. He's so forgettable for me that, 20 seconds after he's stopped singing, I have no recollection of his performance at all

Totally agree. I thought he murdered an absolutely beautiful song at boot camp and then repeated the same trick last night.

He's absolutely not to my taste at all but can't see any way he won't get through with how he's been hyped

I think all 6 guys could be good with the right song choices.
My picks would be Seann, Che and Josh. Although I thought Ben was great at judges houses. I think Simon has been good throughout, but his performances are becoming samey and Mason is interesting and could be very good, but has probably lost the support of the public and his 6 chair challenge outburst will continuously be brought up.

Simon messed up at judges houses so I think that is him out of the running (he also could be a threat to the girls in the voting so I think theyll get rid of him tonight)

I think:
Sean, Mason & Che.

To my mind a few jazz hands are infinitely better than a lot of contestants (Josh and Keira for example) who seem to think that bending over as if they have stomach ache or need to do a number two, is not a great look. So many current singers do it and it annoys me so much!

Maybe he hasn't got to choose all the songs he's sung??? Plus, if he really is one of the few that haven't been scouted, already in the profession, got loads of experience, management etc don't you think that maybe nerves and literally coming from an office job may have an effect on control sometimes? Surely for someone in that situation this will have been a huge event?

It is all a bit stage school for my taste. There is too much manufactured tortured soul and not enough genuine emotion imo. It's all a bit trying too hard to be different and it just leaves me cold
