Underwhelmed on the whole tonight...

Was it only me or did anybody else feel a little bit underwhelmed by tonight's show? It just seemed to lack that bit of sparkle...

Nah, I agree. It felt like a lot of people had one of the rougher bits of their dance-draw tonight and some other people I was expecting better from (Helen in particular) under-delivered.

No not just you op.
My favorites of the night were Jay and Anita .
Helen and Kellie did well also but as a whole I didn't like tonight episode that much,

I was as well.

The terrible music for Jay's Paso stopped it being as brilliant as it could have been. Kellie's Jive looked much better in training. Anita's dance is the only one I've watched again - wasn't sure about it at first, the concept has grown on me though.

My problem is I'm just not properly rooting for any one couple (yet). I find I'm luke warm about either the celebrity or the pro in each pair.

I didn't like the choreography, but Helen was very meh. Her dancing is very meh in general.

I think there was some good dancing but the running order could have been better and the judges made a lot of it very uncomfortable. And there's still a lot of couples. I think it's best between 10 and 6 couples usually.

I thought the band had a bad night. Some of the song's either didn't suit the dance or got no help to suit from the band, and some didn't seem to suit the band.

I usually think they do well.

Katie, Kellie and Carol looked better in training and I was expecting Georgia's routine to be better, but the music may have been a big factor.

The surprisingly goods were Anita and Kirsty.

I couldn't agree more. I'm indifferent to her dancing in general. The fact that Aljaz is so good-looking and a great dancer to boot does little to help me warm to her efforts.

Re tonight, I was expecting their Quickstep to "smash it" - but I was left feeling very short-changed. Aljaz is my fave male pro by far but I think this was a rare off-night for him choreography-wise...

I think it was the running order and the judges that made it feel a bit flat.

Loved a few of the dances though. However I think a few looked better in training than the night so that didn't help either.

I thought it was ok tonight. We all want better dancing but it is only week 5.

The highlight was Bruno shouting out "Those are the Bulls B*******" !

Thought it was a very good dance from her, especially after the training on ITT was heavily slated by Ian (most of the problems were ironed out).

Only saw the dance later and got a shock from Monkseal's twitter comment. thought she had scored very poorly..........don't frighten me again, Mr. R. And only people who don't watch ITT would actually expect something from it in the first place, lol! Between this and The Apprentice, I think that Monky and I will have different view points this series (mind you, with the other show I have some spoilers!).

And a lot less gapping then in his QS with Abbey, by the way.

What I hated the most about the dance was actually the sodding camera Yes, it usually is amateur hour at Strictly, but this one really took the most biscuits and then some!
