We were actually the fifth judge at least for the sing off. So in case of a deadlock. Instead of having the person with least votes going home. We could be the fifth and deciding judge. If they announce the results more towards the start/middle of the show and have the sing off in the middle. They could then open app voting just based on the sing off and we, as the FIFTH JUDGE would then vote for who we want to send home. Getting a single extra free vote each. This voting could be done during ads and while a guest performance is going on and then voting closes before the judges start to do their votes on who to send home. Then, in case of deadlock, we would be the final deciding vote and acting as the FIFTH judge. And even without a deadlock, they could still reveal the FIFTH judge vote, just for results sake.

They would/could still make money through advertising stuff on the app during this type of vote.

This wouldn't work as deadlock essentially is the public being the 5th judge already
