Kirsty & Brendan for me this week. I thought she handled Brendan's brilliant choreography so well and they looked the part last night.

Honourable mentions for Anita & Gleb and Georgia & Giovanni.

Close call for me between Anita & Gleb and Jay & Aliona.

Jay's lyrical arm movements and shaping just shaded it

I'm not sure that Jay is as popular as some think.

Just keep telling yourself that as you compare Jay's 177 votes with plastic P'duh's 5.

Is that wishful thinking Terry I would say he is getting the most votes at the moment but that could change in the coming weeks

Jay and Aliona although i also loved Anita and Gleb (apart from the godawful music and the freaky eyebrow paint)

I have a feeling that Jay will be getting even more votes after his Halloween American Smooth on Saturday.

So can we safely assume that even if Anita and Jay are terrible on Saturday, they will still win the vote here? The bias is quite sad.

Probably, but in fairness, they were pretty great on Saturday so are deservedly topping this poll. Best of the night for me.

Jay is arguable, but Anita wasn't on the same level as Helen and Kellie in terms of technique.

But the poll isn't about the best technique, it is "Which was your favourite couple?"

I think that we can safely assume that Jay and Anita are never going to be terrible, but as this thread is all about your favourite couple, and NOT favourite dance, I can't see that there is anything biased or sad about it.

It's a bloody dancing competition. If your favourite couple isn't because of their dancing, then you should be watching Big Brother. This should NOT be a personality contest.

I think this thread should be changed to "Which couple danced the best?". That would be a lot fairer, and less liable to have the sheep take over the poll.

I am not a regular per se on the forum but have noticed a bias in Jay's favour. I agree it should be about the superior dancer not because Jay is easy on they eye. It's not a beauty contest.
