I don't get Anton
I really don't get the mad love for Anton...to me all of his performances sound incredibly dated, I also find his tone quite jarring and not all that enjoyable to listen to.
I can recognize that he has a good voice but there's nothing current about him, even the way he sings the songs with his mouth wide open like Zippy from Rainbow makes him feel very dated and cruise ship. I have a horrible feeling he'll sail through to the final a la Andy Abraham and Christopher Maloney but I don't think he'll sell records, there's nothing particularly different about him that sets him apart from existing soul artists. |

Love Anton.
I don't get why anyone would say 'dated' about him, his voice is timeless. |

It's his personality and crazy eyes that I love.

I love Anton and can't see the Maloney comparison at all.
He does have the tendency to over do it so needs to work on that. He is obviously a Luther fan as his last two song choices have been off of the greatest hits so needs to use that soul influence but bring it more into the 21st century |

I don't really dislike Anton but I don't warm to him at all either
He and Jennifer were amazing at the six chair challenge though. The six chair challenge was the first time I noticed him enough to think he could get through |

100% a Maloney. Going to sail through to the final without a doubt. We might even get an Ella-James B2 scenario with Seann and Louisa if we're lucky. What on earth was Simon thinking?

I think that calling someone dated is a very easy excuse tbh.
It depends on the record that the person makes imo whether it sells or not. He could make a could soul, jazz blues record tbh |

He's very watchable and memorable. I love his singing, but I would prefer it if he toned down the crazy expressions, just a little bit.

Simon branded Kerri-Ann "old-fashioned" yet picked Anton...

I assume he has some "issues" or habits he dealt with in his past
