If I understand what you are saying, that would produce very unfair results. If someone in week 3 produced a brilliant dance you are saying that all people performing the same dance in further weeks should be marked in a ratio to that first performance? That would mean that someone who gave the best performance of the night in a later week should be marked down because someone else had done the dance even better on a previous week and another couple dancing less well than them on the night could be marked higher just because no one had danced their dance before. How would that be fair? It would be totally unfair!
