I starting to doubt Cuffs will do that well. Its not the typical BBC1 drama that appeals to their usual audience. I think it will start with 5.1m (given the weak oppositon) and drap to a av. of around 4.2m/4.4m.
I can't see it being a big hit tbh. I notice ITV have schedule the next series of Catchphrase at 6.15pm on Saturday. They'd have been better placing this before J&H and giving it a better lead in that the news. I really like catchphrase itv don't seem to care much about it though and put it in slots were it does poorly the last series didn't rate too well so this is probably make or break. |

Good to see SCD and XF not clashing at all from November 7th.
Good rating for Catastrophe but it was promoted like hell so surely it should've got over 1m? |

Strong night for C5 last night.
The Dog Rescuers Puppy Special moved 1.42m (7.2%) at 8pm, easily trumping the 0.94m (4.7%) managed by C4's Three Day Nanny in the same slot. Then at 9pm, Eamonn and Ruth's How the Other Half Lives became the latest talent led factual hit for the channel, pulling in 1.38m (6.6%). Both exclude +1. |

And it's interesting that talent led factual is rating so strongly for C5, but mostly poorly for ITV.
Must be weak programme ideas. Although I agree they've had some very weak programme ideas at ITV. No doubt about it. There is an audience there for the taking but they have struggled to hit the mark. |

Interesting set of figures for the soaps, they are all pretty close. Perhaps I won't slit my wrists over the EastEnders ratings after all. Good job I take what is said on here with a pinch of salt. Some posters on here are like a Tory cabinet minister.

6.04m seems low for EastEnders on a Tuesday. October and soaps aren't posting great ratings in general.
