Whatever the rating is it will end with 999.”

Marginally more amusing than your anti XF sketch on here last week...

I can see a low rating for EE on Friday. They haven't promoted the start time of 7.30pm in the advert, just the "this week, on Eastenders". However, viewers tuning in for Corrie and seeing it's not on could transfer over to EE since the Rugby is on. The weather could help it too but I'm guessing a bog-standard Friday rating.

Could go either way, i suspect some where inbetween is most likely.

I seen the halloween trailer, it doesnt look enticing in the slightest although it kinda reminded me of scream for a second.

Yeah that annoys me with the BBC. Perhaps the second half hour will rate higher given it's airing 7:30-8:30

Tomorrow is also out of slot at 8:30

Yeah they promoted the fact tomorrow is out of lost but not Friday, which is odd. Also people will be out at Halloween parties and Trick or Treating, and attending firework displays which will also bring the rating down.

A bigger BBC3 audience number could be on the cards.

Barring the Europa league I have never watched anything on C5 until recently. Seemed to be making more serious programmes rather than stuff with ludicrous titles and little substance. Enjoyed a lot of their content. Before I wouldn't even bother check what was on 5.

As discussed at length yesterday, it's sensible to promote the time of the next episode, not the one after that, as people will not remember.

Apologies from those of us who don't live on here.

Surely if it's a special Halloween episode they should be promoting the time too?

Has anyone got the ratings for Fargo from Monday night, channel 4 please? Don't think it has been posted but could've missed it.

Via Broadcast:

Quote:
“The Returned (More 4) 9pm-10.25pm
128,000 (0.7%)

The French-language thriller continued with around half of the crowd it entertained for last week’s second series opener.

It also fell below the channel’s slot average of 235,000 (1.3%).

Last week’s episode more than doubled its overnight audience of 254,000 (1.3%) to 593,000 (2.5%) after consolidated viewing.”

Yes, but after Thursday's episode! And apology accepted, provided you now read through all 66 parts thoroughly.

It's not hard to do it, but it's hard for people to remember. Make it easier for them by promoting one change of slot at a time.

If you could provide a highlights reel of the past 66 threads that'd be great!

Looks like the shine is well and truly off The Returned - How the mighty have fallen! Gave up on it midway through S1 and it seems to have been the right decision.

Be interesting to see the ratings for Bond Night on BBC4 what with ITV's timely repeat of Skyfall doing well perhaps we could see some highs for the Arts channel at it cashes in on 007 fever...?

Series 2 of The Returned is good it shouldn't have been shunted off to More 4 on a Friday night. Out of sight, out of mind.

I can't see it being a big hit tbh.

I notice ITV have schedule the next series of Catchphrase at 6.15pm on Saturday. They'd have been better placing this before J&H and giving it a better lead in that the news.”

Cuffs sounds absolutely awful, i was put off by the inclusion of Abbington the bankrupt, cannot pay her taxes yet meekly takes work from the BBC who are funded by the TV tax as some decry it. Initially I thought Kuffs the movie turned into a series when I heard about this, pity because that would have been better.

If it breaks 3 million I will be surprised.
