Pretty sure it would have got a higher +1 rating than usual or a lot of people watching catchup after the guys behaviour over the results.

People have heard that Blackburn's off I see

Great ratings for all of the soaps, particularly Emmerdale beating last year's high already. Though I didn't realise it hadn't hit 7m at all in 2014.

Best moment ever!!

I expect that soundbite to appear on a few TV Award shows when they take a look back at TV in 2016.

Always look at the share too, 35% is normal for the 1st Monday CS episode.

It always seemed odd that people don't tune back in at 8.30pm for the second one and that the audience drops.. Do they not want to see the conclusion of that days storyline?

ITV's Jekyll and Hyde axed after one series:

No surprise there.

I guess they have found other things to do. It's the same with the Strictly results programme which always gets a lower audience than the main show - you'd think people would want to know who'd been voted off.Although I believe it is usually leaked on social media.

Yeah there's a Twitter account which tweets the name of the eliminated contestant around 10pm on Saturday after the show.

Looking at Charlie Higson's twitter account he was still indicating there was a possibility it may come back as recently as yesterday. So not a shock to us, but to the cast/crew it's sad and sudden news that they may not have been expecting. Clearly this was sold to them as a long term project and it's unfortunately not panned out like that.

Consolidating below 2m? It had to go.

They may as well axe Beowulf now as well.

Baffled as to why ITV didn't a) show this on Saturday night at 7pm and b) wait until the New Year to launch it.

5.30pm Anything other than YBF
6pm Ninja Warrior
7pm Jekyll & Hyde
8pm Take Me Out
9pm News
9.15pm Late night film

works as a schedule for me

Will Saved be that high though? I haven't seen it advertised anywhere and had never heard of it before today.

Tricky to tell what will win between Quiz of Everything and CBB. I'm guessing the Quiz will just edge out CBB but have a big consolidated number for those choosing to watch BB live.

There was no way they could keep it going. But the poor scheduling has given both their new fantasy dramas a death wish before they'd even aired.

As someone else said, might as well axe Beowulf now. Launching with 2.6m, there is only one way this is going to go.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall at ITV after the rating for Beowulf came in. Was it a sudeen releasing that they have buggered up the scheduling for a 2nd time?

Its a double wammy of factual on ITV which is known to be one flop after another.

Its has had a few trailers, but not many. The audience don't really consider ITv on Tuesday anymore, so it'll be a high for Silent Witness with both CBB and Fat Quiz sharing the younger audience.

Ah yes Tuesday was normally Football night for years but now it's a barren wasteland.

You wouldn't think we were in January by looking at ITV.

That audience doesn't really have any money to buy anything through unless they pester older people.

Well SAVED looks like a worthwhile doc, but it shoudn't be a double factual, because it always ends in poor ratings for both.

I would have given Midsomer the Tuesday slot at 8pm, with Jericho on Wednesday starting at 8.30pm with a lead in from a soap.

6.30pm ITV Evening News 4.1m

I think Silent Witness attracts a lot of people who don't often watch BBC One or ITV at 9pm. Whatever ITV pit against it just rates exactly as it would if they'd scheduled it against a weaker BBC One programme.

Good numbers for ITV News. They should try Regional news at 10pm and then have National news at 10.30.

Broadcast are reporting that Jekyll & Hyde has been axed. That's a surprise to no one.

I'm pretty sure BB13 launched on a Tuesday

Saved seems to be a dramatised documentary.

I saw a trailer for it during Ninja Warrior on Sunday. It actually looks quite exciting heart in mouth stuff
