I'll not be watching #getawaycar in the future. Bad example of bad morals, badly produced, badly presented.

Dear @BBC,

We think #GetawayCar has failed its MOT.”

People going on like it's as bad as Prized Apart. That surprises me. You can also see people that liked it on Twitter as well. All eyes on the ratings tomorrow.

I do not think this is correct, I have Twitter and read it, there are quotes, it's nuts, - I love it, and Can I do it? I would say at a minimum it's 50/50 I would actually say more in favour then negative, seems a bit marmite. " Slaughtered " is very incorrect.

I think it will be February or March.

The question is what day will they go for?

They could go for
Sunday - I cant see it but it will do fine here

Monday - Always a good day

Tuesday - Where it aired last time and Drama on Tuesdays work well

Wednesday - Not a usual Drama day for BBC excluding Dr Foster which had a bake off lead in. But I think Happy Valleys would be strong enough to work here.

Personally I think they will go for Tuesday but you never know

Tuesday, it has to be. If it ant broke, don't fix it, - run when SW ends.

Masterchef will be around then as well, John Tarode was on Saturday Kitchen saying the 12 series filmed now, - with him in it.

But has not aired on Tuesdays as well. But I suppose Masterchef tends to move around the schedule anyway

Just advertised as coming soon that usually means around 2 weeks sometimes 3 when they start advertising so I'd probably say when silent witness finishes

Did it get mentioned on here that the BBC has commissioned another Mammoth (ITV Studios)/Sarah Phelps Agatha Christie adaptation. Witness For The Prosecution this time.

I played the part of the policeman who gives evidence in the trial, many moons ago!!

Two selected tweets do not a rounded assessment make.

That sounds promising, do we think it'll get the Christmas slot again as ATTN did so well (I hate myself for mentioning the C word in January but oh well!)

Good result for Shetland last night - that rating cant be much lower than it got on Tuesdays against no competition.

Don't know the Broadcast article doesn't say. It was originally a short story which Christie herself adapted as a single set, two act play.

Not sure it could stretch into a three parter that the BBC like to have after Christmas.

We'll have to see if The Getaway Car launched well, held its audience during broadcast and keeps the audience for episode 2.

And will The Voice Uk be up or down.

I get this feeling now that ITV have bought the rights, the ratings are going to start going down.

Added to the fact the first two episodes have been very poor imo, no real stand out talent, and the judges, while fine, are a bit disjointed- I'm sorry to say I'm not keen- But ITV will revamp and that's what the success of the new look voice will hinge on

Personally I dont think Boy George is a big enough name to be a coach. He was out of the limelight for a while and the younger people dont know who he is.

I suppose the same could be said about Tom but I think most people knew Tom Jones before as your granny or your aunt probably liked his music.

I thin Boy George is a big enough name. I certainly find it hard to believe there are people out there who have never heard of him.

Well there always that possibilty that whatever ITV do, the ratings are on the wane. 4 series in and viewers are perhaps tiring of the swivell chairs, ut also singing shows in entirety.

Pleasantly surprised by the Shetland rating - I enjoyed it, but can see why it won't be everyone's cup of tea.

Couldn't get myself involved in Getaway Car and gave up by the time the 4th contestants were repeating the same circuit.

As someone who has always enjoyed The Voice - what the hell has happened this year
Far too many dull uninteresting/poor singers
Far too much background/filler info on contestants
Far too many sequences of the judges talking about/to each other

Won't be in the least bit surprised if its audience start to slip away.

Are we sure that the BBC aren't deliberately running the show into the ground? I agree. I tuned in for the first time this series tonight and it felt like a tired show. So much pointless and annoying padding, too.

If The Voice does drop tomorrow, and the week after, if Saturday Night Takeaway is scheduled directly opposite TVUK, and is likely to dent it - surely its in ITV's best interests to keep TVUK as high as possible?

I watched it tonight (my recording) and I thought it was fine , though admitadely I was sewing at the time, and I have watched very few episodes. But one hing I noiced - William is totally stale, I think ITV should get rid. He really adds nothing to the show, likewise Ricky.

Masterchef will probably air once Dickensian has finished on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 8pm. Happy Valley I think will be Tuesdays, Sunday I imagine will be The Night Manager once War and Peace and the BAFTAs are done on Sundays.

I'm sure BBC Productions has made Yes Prime Minister for GOLD so it wouldn't be strange to see them produce things for other channels much like ITV Studios. I think ITV Studios should consider pitching dramas that don't fit the ITV mold but would thrive on BBC Two, Channel 4 etc

Vera is back on the 31st January so I imagine once that's done it'll be either Churchill's Secret or Maigret. The latter is 2x120m so I wonder if they'll air together or separately?

Holly and Phil have appeared as guests on Chattyman so I guess ITV has relaxed their policy in talent not appearing on rivals networks. I think Idris Elba would be a good guest for LSB UK but I'm not sure who they could pair him with

Yeah I think Wednesdays and Thursdays are a good shout for Masterchef but I think there could be some 9pm eps.

I agree I think The Night Manager will probably air on Sundays which makes it more likely for Happy Valley to air on Tuesdays.

Vera will run till the 21st Feb with a new show starting on the 28th Feb.

I know easter isnt as big as Christmas but I can see ITV having Churchill on Easter Sunday or even Easter Monday. Also I havent seen Maigret mentioned in any trailers but I might have just missed it. Is it meant to air soon?

There is also a 2 parter called Dark Angel which will probably be due to air soon but I could be wrong.

So that would give us possibly Maigret and Dark Angel for the 4 weeks between Vera ending and Easter then
27th/28th March - Churchill's secret?

Maigret could easily air Easter Sunday and Easter Monday or alternatively Dark Angel could air across two nights.
